2025 Player Outlook
Bryant has not played more than 80 games in any of his three seasons in Colorado, and he hasn't been all that productive when he has been on the field the last two seasons. He is now entering his age 33 season, and it seems unlikely he will ever get back to above average production.

Kris Bryant went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI as the Rockies crushed the Athletics on Sunday afternoon at Coors Field.
Bryant plated Ezequiel Tovar with a single in the first inning that tied the game at 2-2. The 33-year-old slugger also smacked a leadoff double in the third inning and scored on a sacrifice fly off the bat of Tyler Freeman. Even with the two-hit afternoon though, Bryant is slashing a gruesome .174/.240/.217 with only one RBI on the season and remains a useless option in most fantasy formats.
Kris Bryant is out of the Rockies lineup for a second straight game Friday against the A’s.
No word on any injury here. It seemed like Bryant would be in line for regular playing time after he his healthy spring, but Hunter Goodman’s strong play has forced the Rockies to keep him in the lineup when he’s not catching, and he’s DHing for a second straight game today. Also, Bryant is just 1-for-14 with zero hard-hit balls so far.
Kris Bryant is not in the lineup for Thursday’s game against the Phillies.
Jacob Stallings will catch so the Rockies are moving Hunter Goodman to DH and giving Bryant the day off. The veteran has started the year just 1-for-14 with six strikeouts; however, he’s unlikely to lose his starting job while he’s healthy. Fantasy managers should expect regular days off though.
Kris Bryant hit a two-run homer in his spring debut as the Rockies crushed the White Sox 14-3 on Tuesday.
Serving as a DH, Bryant crushed a ball to center against Jairo Iriarte. Statcast says it went 462 feet and left the bat at 111.8 mph, but we have seen some calibration issues at Salt River Fields before and it wouldn’t be surprising if that was again a factor today. After all, the last time Bryant hit a ball 111.8 mph in a regular-season game was 2017. Statcast also says Colson Montgomery hit a ball 113.4 mph today, that Korey Lee hit a third-hardest ball of his life and that Brooks Baldwin hit one harder than anything he hit last year. So, grain of salt.
