Rockies sent LHP Josh Rogers outright to Triple-A Albuquerque.
It’s merely a procedural move to jettison Rogers from Colorado’s 40-man roster. The 30-year-old lefty has made six relief appearances this season for the Rockies and is merely emergency depth at this stage of his career.

Rogers was called up Sunday and allowed one run in 1 2/3 innings of relief before picking up a stunning win in the Rockies’ comeback against the Braves. Alas, it wasn’t enough to keep him around for more than a day.

Rogers is up now to provide some depth in the bullpen with Dakota Hudson (elbow) heading to the injured list. There is somehow less than zero fantasy relevance for Rogers.
