Royals signed OF Jorge Bonifacio to a minor league contract.
Bonifacio actually inked a deal with the Royals last week and is already game-ready. Of course, Bonifacio began his career in the Royals' organization and played in the majors with the club from 2017-2019 before bouncing around in recent years. Now 29 years old, he's strictly organizational depth at this point.
Phillies re-signed OF Jorge Bonifacio to a minor league contract.
Bonifacio found his way into seven games last year with the Phillies and spent the majority of the season between Double-A Reading and Triple-A Lehigh Valley, slashing .256/.360/.506 with 17 homers and give steals across 381 plate appearances. He'll bolster the Phillies' organizational outfield depth.
