Diamondbacks released LHP Jesse Biddle.
Biddle signed a minor league contract back in January and was cut loose after allowing nine runs on nine hits with a 6/13 K/BB ratio across 5 2/3 innings (eight appearances) this season for Triple-A Reno.

Biddle spent the previous two seasons pitching overseas with the Orix Buffaloes of Japan's Nippon Professional Baseball. The 31-year-old southpaw holds a career 5.07 ERA, 1.60 WHIP and 105/62 K/BB ratio across 103 innings (99 appearances) in the majors since 2018. He'll bolster Arizona's left-handed relief depth.
Yahoo Japan reports that Jesse Biddle has signed with Japan's Orix Buffaloes.
The Buffaloes have also inked Breyvic Valera and Jacob Waguespack to deals. Biddle, 30, holds a 5.07 ERA over 99 relief appearances at the big league level.

Biddle made eight relief appearances for the Braves back in April and May before spending the rest of the year at Triple-A Gwinnett. The 29-year-old lefty should be able to latch on with a minor-league deal somewhere this offseason.
