Dodgers purchased the contract of LHP James Pazos from their alternate training site.
He's taking the roster spot of Mike Kickham. Pazos was pummeled for 10 runs over 5 1/3 innings last season with the Rockies but was a pretty effective middle reliever prior to that.
Dodgers signed LHP James Pazos to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training.
The 29-year-old southpaw made six appearances for the Rockies in 2020, posting a cringe-inducing 16.88 ERA, 2.81 WHIP and 1/5 K/BB ratio in 5 1/3 innings of work. He'll provide additional bullpen depth for the Dodgers.

It's an end-of-season paperwork move for the Rockies, who missed the playoffs with a final record of 26-34. Pazos, 29, gave up 10 earned runs on 10 hits and five walks in just 5 1/3 innings of relief this year.
