2024 Player Outlook
2023 Recap: Fraley set career highs in home runs (15) and stolen bases (21) last season, and his steadily increasing contact rate led to a reduction in his strikeout rate to a career-best 18.7 percent last season. Some of his other plate discipline metrics lead me to believe that his strikeout rate from last year isn't repeatable, but even so, it won't crush his numbers overall.
2024 Outlook: He's a career .149 hitter against southpaws, so the majority of his playing time should come in a corner outfield or DH spot when the opposition is sending a righty to the mound. Playing time may be a bit tougher to come by for Fraley, effectively placing him as the team's fourth outfielder. Should he get more regular at-bats, he would be an interesting option for fantasy, as he showcased both power and speed last season.
