Robert Murray of FanSided reports that the Padres have signed RHP J.B. Wendelken to a minor league contract and invited him to spring training.

Jon Heyman of the New York Post reports that J.B. Wendelken has agreed to a one-year contract with the Yokohama BayStars of Japan's Nippon Professional Baseball.

J.B. Wendelken has elected free agency.
