Guillermo Heredia has re-signed with SSG Landers of the Korea Baseball Organization.
Heredia will take home $1.5 million in his new deal to remain in Korea for 2024. The 32-year-old outfielder last appeared in the majors in 2022 and has spent the last two seasons in Korea.

This deal will reportedly be for around $1 million guaranteed. Heredia had been playing with the Estrellas Orientales in the Dominican Winter League, but he'll step away now that he has inked a deal with the Landers. The 31-year-old outfielder was non-tendered by the Braves on Friday after hitting just .158/.220/.342 with three homers and eight RBI in 82 plate appearances during the 2022 season.

Heredia was designated for assignment earlier this week and will now officially hit the free agent market. The 31-year-old hit just .158 with three homers and a .562 OPS over 82 plate appearances while seeing sporadic playing time with the Braves this past season.

Heredia has spent the last two seasons in Atlanta as a reserve outfielder and will be arbitration-eligible for the final time this offseason. The 31-year-old outfielder will likely go unclaimed on waivers and is a non-tender candidate this offseason.
