Kilome wound up making just three appearances (two starts) for Triple-A Rochester before being released a few weeks ago. The 27-year-old righty hasn't appeared in the majors since the pandemic-shortened 2020 campaign when he made four relief appearances for the Mets.

Kilome signed a minor league contract with the Nationals last April. The 27-year-old former top prospect hasn't appeared in the majors since he made four relief appearances for the Mets during the pandemic-shortened 2020 season. He spent the entire 2022 season in the minors, posting a serviceable 5.52 ERA, 1.47 WHIP and 99/43 K/BB ratio across 93 innings (20 appearances, 19 starts) between Double-A Harrisburg and Triple-A Rochester.

He compiled a respectable 3.91 ERA, 1.37 WHIP and 40/29 K/BB ratio across 46 innings (21 appearances, five starts) last year at Triple-A Syracuse.

Kilome was designated for assignment last weekend, and will remain with the Mets' organization after clearing waivers. The 25-year-old righty owns a bloated 11.12 ERA, 2.03 WHIP and 13/9 K/BB ratio over 11 1/3 innings (four appearances) at the major-league level.
