Matt Chrietzberg of OFR Sports reports that the Braves have signed Enyel De Los Santos to a minor league contract.
De Los Santos was non-tendered by the White Sox at the end of November. The 28-year-old pitched well after being claimed off waivers from the Yankees with a 3.63 ERA over 17 1/3 innings after he struggled with New York to a 14.21 ERA after being traded from the Padres at the deadline. He’ll compete for a spot in the Atlanta bullpen, but will have to be added to the 40-man roster in order to pitch for the team when the season begins.

The 28-year-old right-hander was claimed off of waivers from the Yankees in mid-August and posted a solid 3.63 ERA, 1.27 WHIP and a 13/9 K/BB ratio over 17 1/3 innings in 15 appearances with the White Sox. He’s now free to peddle his wares on the open market.
White Sox claimed RHP Enyel De Los Santos off of waivers from the Yankees.
The Yankees were quick to cut bait on their trade deadline acquisition after he posted a 14.21 ERA and 2.53 WHIP over his first 6 1/3 innings with the club, but their loss could be the White Sox’ gain. The 28-year-old right-hander has proven to be a valuable bullpen piece in the past and could reclaim that form with his new ballclub.
Yankees designated RHP Enyel De Los Santos for assignment.
The 28-year-old right-hander was acquired from the Padres just before the trade deadline, but he was absolutely hammered in his five outings with the Yankees — posting a 14.21 ERA, 2.53 WHIP and a 5/3 K/BB ratio across 6 1/3 innings of work. There’s a chance that another team in need of bullpen depth could come calling on waivers.
