2025 Player Outlook

Player News
Eduardo Rodriguez allowed four runs Wednesday over 6 1/3 innings against the Rays while not picking up a decision.
Rodriguez, 32, gave up two of those four runs in the seventh inning to turn a solid start into one that was just so-so — at least in terms of results. The southpaw did strike out five in the contest against one walk, but it wasn’t enough for the win. Rodriguez now has an ERA of 4.40, but a much-more impressive K/BB of 34/7 suggests that number is going to go down. His next chance to make good on that is scheduled for Tuesday against the Mets.
Eduardo Rodriguez struck out nine while allowing three runs — one earned — on 10 hits against the Marlins on Thursday to get a win.
Eduardo Rodriguez gave up three runs — two earned — while working 6 1/3 innings in a loss Friday to Brewers.
Eduardo Rodriguez allowed four runs with 12 strikeouts over five innings in a loss to the Nationals on Saturday.
A double and a walk put two runners on for James Wood, who doubled to bring both runners home before Alex Call drove in a third run on a base hit. The Nationals would bring one more run in to score in the fourth. Rodriguez would complete five frames on 90 pitches, striking out an impressive 12 batters on 13 swinging-strikes. The 31-year-old left-hander will draw a start against the Brewers in Arizona on Friday.
