Diamondbacks signed RHP Dario Agrazal to a minor league contract.
Agrazal, 26, missed all of last season with a forearm injury. He made 15 appearances -- 14 starts -- for the Pirates in 2019, posting a 4.91 ERA.
Tigers sent RHP Dario Agrazal outright to Triple-A Toledo.
Agrazal didn't pitch in the majors this season due to a forearm injury. The 25-year-old was claimed off waivers from the Pirates last November after posting a 4.91 ERA and 41/18 K/BB ratio in 73 1/3 innings (14 starts, one relief appearance) in 2019.
Tigers transferred RHP Dario Agrazal from the 10-day injured list to the 45-day injured list.
This move essentially clears a 40-man roster spot for top pitching prospect Casey Mize, who is making his MLB debut on Wednesday. Agrazal remains sidelined with a right forearm strain.
Dario Agrazal (forearm) will throw an inning of live batting practice Friday.
Agrazal has missed the last two and a half weeks of action with right forearm tendinitis. It would appear he's not that far off from being game-ready again.
