2024 Player Outlook
2023 Recap: Seager continues to have issues staying healthy, he appeared in 119 games last year, but with 96 RBI he still came close to hitting the century mark for the first time in his career. The shortstop also tied his career high with 33 home runs while batting .327 in what was the best season of his career. Had he even played an additional 20 games, his draft day price would likely be even higher.
2024 Outlook: He is starting this year off in familiar territory after having hernia surgery. The good news is that he had the surgery with plenty of lead time ahead of Opening Day, and it shouldn't really impact his status. After an insane 15.2% barrel-rate and 53.2% hard-hit rate, it's hard not to be excited about the shortstop in the early part of drafts. The only issue here is that Seager doesn't steal bases.
