Cedric Mullins went 2-for-4 with a double, two runs scored and a stolen base on Sunday as the Orioles dispatched of the Angels in Los Angeles.
The dynamic 30-year-old outfielder roped a one-out double into center off of Tyler Anderson in the fifth inning, then swiped third base and scored on an RBI single by Ryan Mountcastle. Mullins also singled off of Connor Brogdon in the sixth inning and rode home on Gunnar Henderson’s two-run blast. On the season, he’s now slashing .229/.340/.435 with seven long balls, 21 RBI and six swipes through his first 37 games.
Cedric Mullins is not in the lineup for Sunday’s game against the Tigers.
Mullins, who has been dealing with an illness recently, gets a break after logging 18 innings in center field during Saturday’s doubleheader against the Tigers. It’ll be Dylan Carlson taking over in center field.

Mullins came through with the biggest hit of the evening in the fifth inning, smacking an RBI single off of MacKenzie Gore that plated Ryan O’Hearn with the go-ahead run. He then deftly swiped second base, but the Orioles couldn’t cash him in from there. The 30-year-old outfielder is enjoying a nice renaissance to start the 2025 season, slashing .295/.433/.590 with six homers, 20 RBI and five stolen bases.

Practically the only bright spot in the Orioles’ lineup so far this season, Mullins put together another solid game as most of the rest of his teammates floundered. He extended his hitting streak to five games and has reached base safely in 10 straight. His 1.049 has been a pleasant surprise and seems to be set for a resurgent season.
