Quantrill struck out one and walked a pair of batters. He gave up four hits, including a two-run homer to Dansby Swanson. He’ll take the ball next Monday in a rematch against the Cubs at loanDepot park. He can be safely ignored in all fantasy formats.

Quantrill limited Los Angeles’ loaded lineup to just four hits and one walk over his five frames of work. A run-scoring single by Freddie Freeman in the opening frame represented the lone tally against him in this one. He struck out six in what was by far his best outing of the year. The 30-year-old righty will bring a calamitous 7.11 ERA, 1.67 WHIP and 22/11 K/BB ratio across 31 2/3 innings (seven starts) into a challenging road matchup on Monday against the Cubs.

This was pretty much the expected line for Quantrill. Pitching for the Rockies last year, he went 0-3 with an 8.31 ERA while totaling 17 1/3 innings in four starts against the Dodgers. The loss leaves him 2-3 with an 8.10 ERA in his six starts this year, and he’s probably going to get stuck facing L.A. again next time out.
