Brendan Ryan has cleared waivers and has been outrighted to Triple-A Salt Lake.
Just three days after being DFA'd will now head back to AAA Salt Lake, where he's hitting .263 with eight RBI and 17 strikeouts in 21 games this season. After failing to impress in limited action with the Angels, compiling just one hit in 13 at bats over 17 games.
Brendan Ryan has been designated for assignment by the Angels.
