Phillies activated OF Brandon Marsh from the 10-day injured list.
Marsh rejoins Philadelphia’s outfield mix after missing nearly two weeks with a mild right hamstring strain. The 27-year-old has struggled mightily this season at the dish, hitting .095 (4-for-42) with one homer and five RBI through 17 games.

Marsh, who hit three balls over 99 mph last night, is expected to come off the IL this weekend. He’s been out since Apr. 17 with a right hamstring strain.

Marsh left a rehab contest over the weekend with a right hamstring cramp, so it’s an encouraging sign that he’s feeling well enough to get back into game action. The 27-year-old outfielder figures to be ready to rejoin the Phillies’ lineup as early as this weekend.

The expectation had been that Marsh should be ready to rejoin the Phillies at some point next week, so we’ll see if this minor setback changes that timeline at all. Marsh had played six innings in the outfield before exiting. He’ll be re-evaluated on Monday.
