Twins signed LHP Anthony Misiewicz to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training.
Misiewicz pitched one scoreless inning for the Yankees last season and had a 3.90 ERA with a 69/18 K/BB in 55 1/3 innings for their Triple-A club. The 30-year-old has a lifetime 4.67 ERA in 115 2/3 innings since debuting with the Mariners in 2020.

Misiewicz was designated for assignment on Monday and cleared waivers, so he was outrighted off the Major League roster and sent to Triple-A where he will serve as organizational bullpen depth.

A 40-man spot was needed for Jon Berti, so Misiewicz is getting bumped. He had been pitching in Triple-A since June after throwing a scoreless inning in his lone appearance for the Yankees.
