Suárez signed a minor league contract with the Orioles this January after accepting an outright assignment to Triple-A Memphis in 2023. The southpaw struggled mightily in his final season with the Cardinals, posting a 7.16 ERA, 1.74 WHIP, and 175/15 K/BB ratio over 27 2/3 innings.
