Rios is reportedly still receiving offers after several teams asked about his services this past offseason as well. The 35-year-old veteran understandably desires a significant role at this point in his career, but his best days seem well in the past. Rios posted a .255/.287/.353 slash line with 22 doubles, four homers and nine steals across 411 plate appearances for the Royals last year. He did swing the bat fairly well in the team's run to the World Series title, going 13-for-48 with a homer, two doubles, six RBI and six runs scored.

Rios will enter the 2016 season at the age of 35 and with declining skills; the veteran outfielder doesn’t bring any fantasy appeal. Rios was once a player that owners could rely on to provide some pop and speed, but the outfielder has totaled eight homeruns the last two years and his stolen bases dipped to nine this past year. Rios finished with a slash line of .255/.287/.353 in 105 games and no matter where he ends up next season, can safely be avoided on draft day.

After going 1-for-10 over the first three games of the ALCS, Rios came up with a big performance against one of his former employers in Game 4. The 34-year-old outfielder is now 8-for-27 with a homer, two doubles, four RBI and four runs scored during his first career postseason.

Alex Rios had a hit and an RBI for the Royals in their win in Game 2 on Saturday. Rios entered the game a .400 hitter against David Price with two home runs in 30 at bats. His single scored Alex Gordon to cap off the five run rally in the seventh inning off of Aaron Sanchez though. It was his first hit of the series and he was lifted for defense in the eighth inning.
