UFC Fight Night Best Bet - Marcin Tybura vs. Sergey Spivac: Spivac ITD +120

It’s rare that you can get the favorite in a five round heavyweight fight plus money to win inside the distance, but we have that this week. Spivac should be able to dominate with his wrestling and eventually find the KO. I’m going to play it a little safe though just in case he gets the submission.

UFC Fight Night Prediction - Danny Barlow vs. Nikolay Veretennikov: Barlow KO +120

Barlow is a more powerful striker, and with Veretennikov coming in on short notice, Barlow should be able to catch him with that left hand. Veretennikov has been durable over the last few years, but at 34 years old making his UFC debut, this will be the toughest test for him, and I don’t think he is ready for the power that Barlow has.

 

 

 

UFC Fight Night Pick - Jhonata Diniz vs. Karl Williams: Williams By Decision +140

Going back to his amateur career, Williams has never been a finisher, having gone to decision five times. Diniz might be the worst grappler he has faced, but I expect Williams to take nearly zero chances, as Diniz has a ton of power. A ton of takedowns, some ground and pound and draining the clock should get us a win here.

UFC Fight Night Prediction - Long Shot Bet: Talita Alencar By Submission +700

She showed in her first matchup she can get the fight to the ground. In her career, she has 0 KOs, so if she gets a win inside the distance, it is probably going to be by submission. If she doesn’t find the finish, I think she loses this fight, so to me, this is similar to her ML.
