PGA DFS Example Lineups Waste Management Phoenix Open: Top DraftKings & FanDuel PGA DFS Picks
Published: Feb 08, 2023
Here are my personal example lineups for this weekend's tournament. You will see lineups for DraftKings and Fanduel. You will also need at least two pivot options in each of the lineups as well. We encourage you to use these lineups and the playbook as a guide for building your own unique lineups for the Waste Management Phoenix Open.
Make sure you read my full PGA DFS Playbook for the Waste Management Phoenix Open before using these example lineups. You can also take a look at my Weekly Tournament Projections at any time.
The string of multiple course tournaments has come to an end, at least for now. We get to see these golfers play on one course over the full four days. We also get a terrific field of golfers, one of the best we’ve seen all year. As I warn every single week, golf is the most variant sport in all of the daily fantasy sports world. It’s basically as unpredictable as it comes but this weekend we’ve got a better feel for things. We’ve got a lot of good players and a lot of course history to base our projections on. I am more comfortable playing my normal bankroll this weekend at the Waste Management.
The one big concern with this event is the unusual environment like the 16th hole. There are just some players who play into it and others who just want to get it over with. The goal is to find the players who embrace this tournament.
I am going to go with a more balanced approach this weekend because of the field strength. There are so many good golfers out there that you can put together a really strong lineup starting with a guy like Xander Schauffele. We do go back to the typical two round cut which changes up our risk tolerance a bit. I will play a mix of cash and tournaments this weekend knowing all of these factors. The one piece of advice I get every single week is to get creative with those GPPs because that’s the only way to take down these big time prizes.
