NHL DFS Picks, Projections, Lineups & Stacks Today: Monday Playbook

We have an action packed 6-game slate with some great games on tap and plenty to sort through. 

There are some of the worst defenses on tonight's slate, along with several elite offenses, which should put things in a spot for plenty of scoring.

With so many of the league's top players all on one slate, we'll look for plenty of value options to help round out our lineups. 

NHL DFS Pick'em Picks On Sleeper Fantasy

• Connor McDavid Over 1.5 Points
• Dylan Strome Over 0.5 Assists
• Alex DeBrincat Over 2.5 Shots on Goal

McDavid is going to be the poster boy of the playbook today and for good reason the matchup is fantastic against the Habs and he's been on a war path since returning from injury. McDavid has 11 points over the past games and Montreal is not going to slow his roll tonight. 

Strome has been one of the biggest beneficiaries from Ovechkin's early season revival so far as he has 21 assists already this season! As long as he's skating with him there are assists to be had during this hot streak so give him another tonight and let's nail this prop. 

DeBrincat and the Red Wings are in a big time spot tonight against the Sharks as their defense just does not exist and they should pepper them all night long. Sharks are allowing 32.3 shots on goal per game the 5th most in the NHL right now, should be no problem for DeBrincat to put 3 shots on goal tonight.

Goalie Of The Day: Logan Thompson - WAS

With Lindgren starting last night for the Caps that surely means we will see Thompson tonight for the Capitals. Playing on a back-to-back is usually not great for the defense in front of him and I am counting on that for the floor tonight with a good number of saves. 

Utah is not a great finishing team either as they 2.88 goals per game so Thompson should hold it down and put up some good numbers tonight. 

Play Of The Day: Connor McDavid - EDM

Sometimes the chalk is the chalk for a reason, and I can't imagine not having McDavid in my lineups tonight as he faces Montreal. 

The Habs allow 32.8 shots per game and 3.56 goals per game both are in the bottom 5 of the league standings on those stats! McDavid as I mentioned in the props is on a tear and tonight it should be multiple points for him again, eat the chalk. 

Value Play Of The Day: Artturi Lehkonen - COL

Lehkonen has only played in 6 games so far this season, so it seems many have forgotten about him but not me! His price tag on DK sits at 5.8k tonight and that's a steal for a winger that plays with Nathan MacKinnon and the top powerplay unit of the Avalanche as well. 

The Flyers are also not good and allow the 7th most DFS points to left wingers on the season so this man is a must play for me tonight. 

Stack Of The Day: EDM L1 & PP1 (Connor McDavid, Zach Hyman & Ryan Nugent-Hopkins)

More piling on for the Oilers wagon here and it should come as no surprise that you want as much exposure to McDavid as you can realistically get! 

All 3 forwards are on the top line and powerplay unit together, so they are going to log serious minutes and chances tonight against this Flyers team.
