NHL DFS Lineup Picks: Starting Goalies

Top Options For Saves: Jet Greaves - CBJ

With the Montreal Canadiens losing last night, the Columbus Blue Jackets are still alive for the Stanley Cup Playoffs. It might not be a high chance, but alive nonetheless.

They've been fighting for every point they can get over the last month or so, and it's due to their defense being lackluster, which is nothing new for them. This often puts their goalies under a ton of pressure, which means they have a real chance to pile up the saves. Since the start of April, the Blue Jackets have allowed 29.83 Shots Against per 60 minutes in five-on-five situations, which is the sixth-most in the league.

Jet Greaves will be in net tonight and while they need to come away with the win, there's no doubt the pressure will be there from the Philadelphia Flyers, who can play spoiler tonight.

Best Odds For A Win: Filip Gustavsson - MIN

Win and you're in. It's that simple for the Minnesota Wild. Well, technically they just need to get one point versus the Anaheim Ducks, but you get the idea.

It's been a crazy season for the Wild between a hot start, several major injuries, cold streaks, you name it, they've dealt with it. However, all of that can be put behind them tonight with a single point over the Ducks, which would secure their spot in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

The Wild come in as big -260 money line favorites and should be able to take care of business against a terrible Ducks defense. Since the start of April, the Ducks have allowed 3.23 Goals per 60 minutes in five-on-five situations, which is the fifth-worst in the league. The Wild take care of things tonight and Gustavsson comes away with the win.

NHL DFS Lineups: Core NHL DFS Skaters

Play Of the Day: Auston Matthews - TOR

With a win, the Toronto Maple Leafs can clinch the Atlantic Division for the first time in franchise history. That's fun and all, but that really means that they will have home ice advantage in at least the first two rounds, which is the real prize.

As usual, the matchup against the Buffalo Sabres is a solid one since they've allowed 2.71 Goals per 60 minutes in five-on-five situations since the start of April, which is the 13th most in the league. On the flip side, the Leafs have scored 2.74 Goals per 60 minutes in five-on-five situations, which is the 10th highest in the league in April.

Matthews is doing his part with that scoring, coming in with 12 points and 33 shots on goal over his last 10 games, giving us that high level of consistency we love to see.

Value Play Of The Day: Dmitri Voronkov - CBJ

The Blue Jackets need to win in regulation tonight to keep their season alive and that means pedal to the floor on offense.

They should be piling up the shots early and often against the Flyers, who have allowed 63.28 Total Shot Attempts per 60 minutes in five-on-five situations, which is the sixth-worst in the league since the start of April.

If there was any matchup you want at the end of the season, this is the one for the Blue Jackets. Let's turn to Dmitri Voronkov, who skates on the third forward line and the second power-play unit. He comes in with 4 points, 22 shots on goal, and 6 blocked shots in his last 10 games.

Stack Of The Day: TOR 1 (Auston Matthews, Mitch Marner, Matthew Knies)

The Leafs are cookin' on offense right now with at least three goals scored in eight of their last 10 games, a trend which should continue tonight versus the Buffalo Sabres. As noted above, they win tonight, and they win the Atlantic Division, so it should be a full effort from them.

The top line has been getting it done with Knies coming in with 10 points and 28 shots on goal in his last 10. Matthews with 12 points and 33 shots on goal in his last 10. And Marner with 14 points and 22 shots on goal in his last 10. They combine for multiple goals tonight and get the win.
