NFL DFS Week 12 Picks, Projections & Playbook For DraftKings & FanDuel

DraftKings players unfortunately are out of luck when it comes to rostering Jalen Hurts this week with the Eagles on Sunday Night Football but on FanDuel I would look to prioritize him as my top QB. His rushing upside is so elite and helps him consistently be among the top overall scoring players in DFS.

This game against the Panthers is not expected to be overly competitive and Carolina struggles defensively against both the pass and the run. If you wanna roll with Mahomes and stack him with Hopkins and/or Kelce this week I see no issues.

We all knew Goff was in a great spot last week and he did not let us down, putting up a QB1 overall week as he threw four touchdowns passes. Goff has another safe matchup this week against the Colts and the DraftKings pricing is pretty nice.

Nix is getting a lot of ownership love this week as the rookie goes on the road to face the Raiders. In his first meeting against Las Vegas he threw for two touchdowns and ran for another. The Broncos have the second rated offensive line according to PFF and the ability to keep Nix protected is allowing him time to make plays.

Kyler is one of my favorite plays of the week. I'm always partial to the mobile QB's and on DraftKings we don't have the luxury of playing Lamar Jackson or Jalen Hurts this week. We are also looking at a matchup with one of the higher game totals of the week.

Off a bye, getting Mike Evans back and facing a Giants team that is in shambles after the team demoted and then released Daniel Jones. This could be setting up for a big week from Mayfield.

Opposite side of the Murray play. Smith is still averaging the most passing yards per game in football this season and if he could just throw some touchdowns he could easily be a top five fantasy QB.

Maybe I'm a sucker but I think Williams is a sneaky good play tonight. The Vikings run defense is strong but their pass defense has been exploitable. Williams is super cheap as are his wide receivers and against some of the other bad pass defenses this season like the Colts, Panthers and Jaguars he scored no less than 23 fantasy points.

So, Brock Purdy has been ruled out which leaves us with Brandon Allen at QB. With a backup QB starting we gotta think the game plan is going to feature quite a bit of Christian McCaffrey both in the running game and the screen passing attack against Green Bay this weekend.

Few teams have stopped Joe Mixon this season and though the Titans do have a strong defense, I'd be willing to bet that Mixon finds the end zone at least once this week after running for 109 yards and three touchdowns last week against the Cowboys.

So, Achane is currently projected to be the top rostered running back on the slate. Achane had 17 carries last week and added four catches against the Raiders. With Raheem Mostert seeing his snap usage drop to 15% in each of the last two weeks it is clear that the Dolphins backfield is all Achanes.

If you wanted to pay up for Gibbs I'm not going to say its a bad play but I'll take the discount here for Montgomery who had two rushing touchdowns last week against the Jags and given his red zone usage is always live for a multi-touchdown week.

Conner does it all for this Cardinals offense and the Seahawks run defense is nothing to write home about. In a tough spot last week against the Jets, Conner only managed 33 rushing yards but added a rushing TD and five catches for 80 yards as well.

So, we aren't 100% sure that Isaih Pacheco is going to play this week and even if he does play it seems unlikely he completely takes over a full role in his first game. Vegas is also pretty bullish on Hunt with his rushing attempts prop set at 17.5 and his yardage prop set at 70.5. IF you think Pacheco takes on a big role then go bet the unders asap.

The Dallas Cowboys defense has struggled for most of the season but they are getting some of their playmakers back which has helped their pass rush and pass defense. That said, they still can't stop the run and I'd expect to see a heavy dose of Brian Robinson this weekend.

I know there has been talk of the Buccaneers maybe getting Sean Tucker more involved but Irving still seems like the top choice to carry the workload while Rachaad White gets his snaps and the passing down work. This is a good matchup to run and Irving has some touchdown equity here this week.

This dude is a touchdown machine, catching two more last week against Jacksonville. It's not like teams don't know that ARSB is going to get the football, it's just that he is such a good route runner that it doesn't really matter. He finds ways to get open and Jared Goff finds ways to get him the football. 

Kupp is the more expensive play here so going with Nacua who had no problems at all last week against the New England Patriots. This should be a fun game between the Eagles and Rams on Sunday Night Football.

Even with a QB change the targets are all still finding their way to Lamb and I'd expect to see similar results this week. I wasn't going to put him in the playbook until I saw that there is a lot of ownership going his way this week against the Commanders.

Mike Evans is returning this week and the quote from head coach Todd Bowles was that Evans was going to play as many snaps as he feels good enough to play.  That should indicate to me that hes a full go this weekend against a Giants team that is ready to call it a season.

Metcalf returned last week and had himself a solid fantasy day agaisnt a tough 49ers defense. With an easier matchup this week in one of the top game total games on the slate,  we are looking for Metcalf to be a strong GPP option at a nice price.

I always through Jameson Williams in my GPP lineups because he is can do exactly what he did last week and that is catch long touchdowns and put up big fantasy scores with very little volume.  We know the Colts pass defense is suspect and we know a lot of attention by opposing defenses is put on stopping St.Brown and the running game which often leaves some favorable coverage matchups for Williams to take advantage of.

After not being targeted in Week 7 something clicked with the Broncos offense, Bo Nix and his top receiver Courtland Sutton because since then he's been targeted no fewer than eight times in a game while catching no fewer than six passes. He has at least 70 yards receiving in all four of those games while eclipsing 100-yards in two of them. The Raiders have some decent cover corners but Nix and Sutton are vibing right now and this price tag on DraftKings especially is strong. 

This price tag is a bit of a head scratcher for me. Like, I get it. The Bears offense has been inconsistent this season but Moore is coming off of a seven catch performance. The Bears offense looked a bit better in the post Shane Waldron era and maybe that continues this week against a Vikings defense allowing the second most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers.

Thielen had his return window activated a few weeks ago and with the Panthers off of a bye its looking like he will be ready to go against the Chiefs. Now, he is still listed as questionable but if active I think this price tag is too low, especially in PPR formats where I can see him catching a handful of balls this week in a game the Panthers are likely  playing from behind.

Boutte continues to play a ton of snaps and while Kendrick Bourne had the bigger day and Demario Douglas continues to get targets, I'm still buying into the developing chemistry behind Maye and Boutte this week against the Dolphins.

Can't go away from a guy who got 16 targets last week, catching 13 of them for 126 yards and a touchdown. Bowers has come into the league and could very well be the top overall tight end in fantasy football next season on draft boards.

After weeks of elite fantasy production we got the egg against the Bills last week with Kelce catching just two passes for eight yards. The Panthers are allowing the second most fantasy points to the tight end position so we have a great spot for Kelce to get back on the wagon for us DFS players.

Bowers had 13 catches for 126 yards last week against the Miami Dolphins and now the Patriots come into town where Hunter Henry is the favorite target of rookie QB Drake Maye. Henry had nine targets last week against the Rams, catching six passes for 63 yards.

While the Panthers are allowing the second most fantasy points to tight ends this season it is their opponent in the Kansas City Chiefs who are allowing the third most fantasy points to tight ends. Sanders has been good of late and coming off of a bye in a favorable matchup I'd be willing to buy in.  

At a similar price point you could also look at Giants rookie tight end Theo Johnson against Tampa Bay.

Punt play at the position with Jake Ferguson out of the lineup. Schoonmaker caught six passes on 10 targets last week for 56 yards and when he was called upon to start back in Week 2 he had six catches for 43 yards.

Commanders are a popular defense this week given the Cowboys struggles to score.  Cooper Rush has also turned the ball over a few times here of late as well.

Tommy Cutlets at QB and a disenfranchised team now facing a Buccaneers defense coming off of a bye. I understand that Tampa's defense hasn't been great this year but the momentum is certainly not on the Giants side right now.

The Raiders could be without both starting running backs this weekend and the Broncos have a good pass defense. The price point is also more than fair. 

Many are going to the Bears defense this week. They are home at a super low price point with a solid defense. We've also seen Darnold turn the ball over more lately which can turn into some nice fantasy production.
