NFL DFS Week 10 Picks, Projections & Playbook For DraftKings & FanDuel

I've played a naked Jalen Hurts many times this season and I'll be doing it again this week as well. His price tag along with rushing touchdown upside will make him an elite play and with the current ownership projections coming in at under 10% he could be a tournament winner if we get another game where he throws for one TD and runs for multiple.

Losing his receivers are less than ideal. Last week we saw Amari Cooper ruled out on Sunday. This week Keon Coleman is already ruled out and Amari Cooper is questionable. That said, Allen continues to show chemistry with Khalil Shakir and he's been heavily targeting Dalton Kincaid as well. This is a favorable matchup for Allen who is always a threat to run for a touchdown or two as well.

This is a really good spot for Cousins against a Saints defense that just traded away Marshon Lattimore and have struggled against the pass this season in general. Cousins will also have Drake London available this week after it looking like he may miss this matchup due to the injury that forced him from last weeks contest. Cousins is looking poised for another 2+ passing touchdown game here this weekend.

The Buccaneers have the luxury of drawing the Christian McCaffrey return game as the 49ers come out of their bye week. The one thing this 49ers offense has been missing this season is the running back impacting the passing offense. Adding another elite playmaker for defenses to worry about will only help Purdy this week in a favorable matchup.

It will not shock me if come Sunday we see Darnold with more ownership as he draws this incredibly favorable matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Jacksonville is allowing the most fantasy points to opposing QB's and Darnold gets to throw the ball to Justin Jefferson. The concern may be the overall competitiveness of this game limiting the upside but he could also easily throw three touchdowns before half time and pay off the price tag.

Rodgers has finished with at least 17 fantasy points in three of the last four games. He has elite receiving options in Garrett Wilson, Davante Adams and running back Breece Hall. The Cardinals secondary hasn't been great this year and I think we may be seeing Rodgers turn a corner.

Herbert is getting the ownership love this week. The price tag has a lot to do with it. The matchup against the Titans isn't the easiest on the board but with Quentin Johnston back this offense now has a downfield playmaker for Herbert to target.

I handle the Eagles offense the same way I handle the Ravens offense when it comes to DFS. Give me the QB and give me the RB. Sure, the wide receivers are talented but both teams run the ball and run the ball a ton. Yes, Barkley can be frustrating in DFS because Jalen Hurts will absolutely steal his touchdowns from inside the five yard line but he does have eight rushing touchdowns on the year and is coming off of a week where he ran for 159 yards on 27 carries. The Cowboys are big underdogs this week, their run defense has struggled all season and this is shaping up to be a week where Barkley runs wild again.

We may see Kamara get 10+ targets in this game while touching the ball close to 20 times on the ground due to the limited skill position players that are healthy for the Saints this weekend. This probably explains why Kamara is a popular play this week.

He's back! I honestly almost left him out of the playbook because I don't trust a word that Kyle Shanahan says but by all accounts CMC is feeling 100% healthy and will play. Even if he is limited a bit, which we have to expect, I still see him playing in the red zone where few players have been better than Christian McCaffrey when it comes to scoring touchdowns over the last few years since joining the 49ers.

Opposite side of that matchup we see Bijan Robinson. In previous years the Saints had a really good run defense but that hasn't been the case this season and Robinson continues to show the elite upside that has led to four straight weeks of 20+ fantasy points.

If the Bills end up being without Amari Cooper and Keon Coleman this week then I may just lean to the running game. This is as good of a spot for James Cook as it is for Josh Allen and we've seen Cook have some huge games this season which included just two weeks ago where he went for 30 fantasy points against the Seahawks. 

In a similar vein, while the Jaguars have really struggled against the passing game, running backs are also finding success on the ground and if Minnesota gets up early, which most expect, this could be a big day for Jones when it comes to his touch volume.

As a Patriots fan it pains me but I put Swift on the cover of the playbook this week for a reason and that's because New England just can not stop the run. Swift should get a ton of touches this week against a bad New England run defense and we know he has the upside to make plays in the passing game as well. The price tag on DraftKings is perfect this week.

Three straight games of over 100-yards rushing as the Steelers come out of their bye week to face a Commanders defense that has been improving but will have a big task against this Steelers offense.

Ekeler started last week and with Brian Robinson Jr. ruled out again this week we will see Ekeler again as the starter. Ekeler was good last week, totaling 83 yards and a score while adding three receptions. Now, he does have a tougher matchup against the Steelers this week but we know the type of DFS impact Ekeler is capable of making when the lead back in an offense.

I'm a little shocked that the initial ownership run has lower ownership on Jefferson than I would have expected. I guess with the lack of true value plays this week it may be more difficult to spend all the way up at the receiver position but Jefferson is in a massive spot this week against a horrible Jaguars defense. Even Vegas is expecting a big Jefferson week with his yardage projection set at 96.5 yards. If you can fit him in the lineup this week I think he's worth it.

All the worry for Garrett Wilson about Davante Adams joining the Jets was for not as Wilson continues to establish himself as the top receiver in this New York offense. Against Houston last week he had nine catches for 90 yards and two touchdowns which included maybe the catch of the decade. He has been a target monster for this team and has a great matchup against the Cardinals this week.

Not many people looking at Pickens this week and maybe it has to do with the Commanders defense starting to improve but Wilson and Pickens have already showed solid chemistry in his two starts this season with Pickens totaling nine catches on 14 targets for 185 yards and a touchdown.

The price for Mooney and London are getting closer and closer together and I think most would click on London's name because of that so why not take Mooney who is having a huge season as the #2 wide receiver in this offense and has a great matchup this week.

Michael Pittman has been ruled out for the week which has everyone flocking to Downs. Yes, Joe Flacco being the QB is much better for the Colts passing attack and Downs makes a lot of sense given the target volume he is going to see this week but Flacco did not look good last week so another poor week would be concerning. 

We already know Keon Coleman is ruled out but if Amari Cooper is ruled out as well then it is all systems go for Shakir who has three straight weeks of at least seven targets and at least six catches.

Coming off of two touchdowns last week. Yes, he has a tough matchup but this price tag is too cheap if DHop is going to start looking like the DHop of old with Patrick Mahomes now his quarterback.

Brandon Aiyuk was lost for the season before the bye week and Deebo Samuel is questionable to play. Jennings was really good earlier this year and while Ricky Pearsall is back in action, we could still see Jennings involved here.

No Michael Pittman makes Pierce an interesting option this week. We know that Flacco has a big arm that loves to throw downfield and Pierce is a field stretcher. If they hit the home run he will pay off the price tag in one play.

QJ came back to the Chargers lineup last week and finished with 118 yards and a touchdown. He adds a big play element to this offense that they lacked while he was injured and Herbert has a big arm to get him the football.

I mean, somebody has to catch the football for the Saints. Sure, Tipton caught 0 passes on three targets last week but I just can't see that happening again this week as we may see Tipton and Marquez-Valdes Scantling as the two starting WRs for the Saints.

If you want to play Terry McLaurin you certainly can but Brown has also established himself as the #2 wide receiver in this offense and if the Commanders fall behind the target share should be here for the Commanders receiver.

I get the Broncos have been really good defensively but if Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce are going to be doing this thing again then it doesn't really matter. Kelce has been a target hog for this Chiefs offense and while he may not have the quickness he once had, his hands are still good and Mahomes always knows where he is going to be on the field.

The Buccaneers present one of the best matchups in football for opposing tight ends and Kittle is having a tremendous season. With the 49ers coming out of the bye, I'd look for Kittle to make some noise this week.

He saw 10 targets last week and if Amari Cooper is ruled out again we might see another 10 targets float his way. This too is a good spot for tight ends given the Colts defensive struggles this season.

I just like the Falcons offense in general this week so if you want to use Pitts instead of London or Mooney be my guest. He has as much upside as either of those two which we saw two weeks ago with his 90 yards and two touchdown performance.

We called it out last week and it happened as Hill ran for a touchdown but he also added a handful of receptions as well. With both back up running backs out of the lineup again along with Chris Olave there is a good chance that Hill sees the same type of workload this week against the Falcons.

While the passing offense isn't great in New England it does have volume with Drake Maye attempting at least 30 passes in all three of the games which he played all four quarters. Henry has been the most consistent pass catcher for the Patriots this season as he settles down in soft spots for Drake Maye to make easy throws.

The Titans are on the road this week and going back to Will Levis as the QB. This Chargers defense is getting after the QB and creating turnovers. Makes a lot of sense why the are among the top priced defenses on the slate this week.

Mac Jones is starting for the Jaguars this week and that right there should be reason enough. Jones had some ugly moments during preseason and we know his struggles in New England. When things start to go back for Jones they go bad in a hurry.

Cooper Rush is the QB this week and Dallas has no running game. This feels like a spot where the Eagles defense just looks to tee off and rack up a good amount of sacks and maybe a few interceptions as well.

Yes, the 49ers are on the road but they are also coming off of their bye week. Baker Mayfield has been impressive so far while missing his top two receivers but that has largely been due to the fact that Cade Otton has stepped up. Unfortunately the 49ers are the best cover team in the NFL against tight ends. This could be a long day for Baker.

How about this one. The Bears are getting the most love when it comes to ownership this week. I guess it makes sense as they are at home against a Patriots offense that looks more exciting with Drake Maye but isn't really doing all that much better that it was earlier in the year. Maye also leads the league in turnover worthy passes which indicates he has been getting rather lucky with only a few interceptions so far in his limited action.
