NFL Injury Report 2024 Ahead Of Sunday's Week 10 Games: Christian McCaffrey, More

There is still a lot up in the air when it comes to the NFL Injury Report Week 10 with how many players’ statuses have been listed as questionable. Some injuries we were worried about have improved as CeeDee Lamb, A.J. Brown, and Devonta Smith are all off the injury report, but late-week additions of Tyreek Hill and Tank Dell have fantasy football owners concerned. Let’s dive into the Week 10 injury report. Happy Christian McCaffrey week, by the way!
NFL Week 10 Injury Report: Quarterbacks
Trevor Lawrence Injury Update - Shoulder
Despite the fact that it’s left shoulder, which isn’t his throwing shoulder, head coach Doug Pederson said it’s unlikely that Trevor Lawrence is going to play this week. Pederson said it doesn’t impact him throwing the ball but it’s a pain tolerance thing. Mac Jones will likely start in his place.
Dak Prescott Injury Update - Hamstring
After there was uncertainty on Dak Prescott’s hamstring injury and how long he would be out for and he’s been placed on injured reserve meaning he’ll miss at least four games. EVP Stephen Jones was on local radio telling them he’s not sure if it’s a four week, six week, or season-ending injury. Only time will tell.
Will Levis Injury Update - Shoulder
With his shoulder injury in the rearview mirror, Will Levis was announced as the Titans starting quarterback in Week 10 per head coach Brian Callahan.
NFL Week 10 Injury Report: Running Backs
Christian McCaffrey Injury Update - Achilles
After practicing for the previous two weeks, the first week being the 49ers bye week, Christian McCaffrey will make his season debut in Week 10 per head coach Kyle Shanahan, even though he’s listed questionable.
Brian Robinson Injury Update - Hamstring
It seemed as if Robinson was going to play in Week 9 and yet, here we are, and this will be the second consecutive game Brian Robinson is going to miss. The Commanders play the Steelers this week.
Tony Pollard Injury Update - Foot
After returning to practice on Friday, the Titans have fully removed Tony Pollard from the injury report and he will return to action in Week 10.
Tyjae Spears Injury Update - Hamstring
We first saw Tyjae Spears return to practice on Wednesday in limited fashion and that was upgraded to full on both Thursday and Friday. Spears is off the injury report and will suit up for Week 10 for the first time since Week 6.
Jonathan Brooks Injury Update - Knee
Could we potentially see the debut of second-round draft pick Jonathan Brooks? Head coach Dave Canales said it’s possible he plays on Sunday against the Giants and he’s officially listed as questionable.
Dameon Pierce Injury Update - Groin
Dameon Pierce has been ruled out of the Texans’ Week 10 game due to a groin injury.
Jordan Mason Injury Update - Shoulder
Jordan Mason has been removed from the San Francisco 49ers injury report and he’s going to suit up in Week 10. He’ll definitely still see work in Week 10 despite Christian McCaffrey suiting up.
Gus Edwards Injury Update - Ankle
After the Los Angeles Chargers opened up Gus Edwards’ practice window earlier this week, he’s logged practices all week and says he’s 100%. He’s listed as questionable but there’s a good chance he returns in this one.
NFL Week 10 Injury Report: Wide Receivers
CeeDee Lamb Injury Update - Shoulder
Despite having a shoulder injury, Lamb has been removed from the Cowboys injury report and will suit up in Week 10. Cooper Rush will be delivering him the football.
Nico Collins Injury Update - Hamstring
After not practicing on Wednesday or Thursday, Nico Collins returned to practice on Friday in limited fashion. The Texans have officially listed Nico Collins as questionable for Sunday Night Football.
A.J. Brown Injury Update - Knee
The Eagles have removed A.J. Brown from their injury report completely and Brown, after having a serious injury scare last week, is ready to go in Week 10.
Devonta Smith Injury Update - Knee
Just like A.J. Brown, Devonta Smith has been removed from the Week 10 injury report and is good to go in Week 10 with no limitations.
Tyreek Hill Injury Update - Wrist
This is not great look for Tyreek Hill after not being listed on the injury report earlier in the week, Hill was unable to practice on Friday because of a wrist injury. We’ll have to monitor the news throughout the weekend leading up to the Dolphins’ game.
Drake London Injury Update - Hip
When asked about Drake London’s Week 10 status, head coach Raheem Morris told the media that he felt good that London will play. That’s great news for the Falcons’ number one receiver.
Amari Cooper injury Update - Wrist
Amari Cooper spoke to the media earlier in the week and his wrist was heavily taped and was talking about pain management. He was able to practice in limited fashion and is listed as questionable.
Mike Evans Injury Update - Hamstring
Mike Evans was unable to practice this week and has officially been ruled out in Week 10.
Chris Olave Injury Update - Concussion
We will not see Chris Olave in Week 10 and his future beyond that is still undecided. The team is still figuring out whether he’s going to spend time on the injured list.
Deebo Samuel Injury Update - Rib, Oblique
Despite being listed as questionable, Deebo Samuel was able to log three straight practices on a limited basis and is likely to play in Week 10.
Tank Dell Injury Update - Back
An unfortunate Friday development is Tank Dell being an addition to their injury report with a back injury. There’s no telling how serious it is and when it flared up but it’s enough that the Texans are listing him as questionable.
Michael Pittman Jr. Injury Update - Back, Finger
It’s surprising it took this long for Michael Pittman to miss a game because he’s been playing through this back injury for some time. He was originally going on the IL multiple weeks ago until he wasn’t. The Colts said they’re taking things week by week.
Brian Thomas Jr. Injury Update - Chest
Brian Thomas Jr. logged limited practices all week and has officially been listed as questionable, but all signs are pointing to Thomas being available. Mac Jones may be his quarterback, however.
Gabe Davis Injury Update - Shoulder
Much like Brian Thomas Jr., Gabe Davis was able to log limited practices this week and should be back in Week 10 despite being listed as questionable.
Keon Coleman Injury Update - Wrist
Not only have the Buffalo Bills ruled Keon Coleman out for this week, but head coach Sean McDermott said this could be a multi-week injury. Coleman was seen wearing a brace at practice on Friday.
Jauan Jennings Injury Update - Hip
Jauan Jennings has been completely removed from the 49ers injury report and he will suit up for the 49ers in Week 10.
NFL Week 10 Injury Report: Tight Ends
Dallas Goedert Injury Update - Hamstring
Dallas Goedert makes his return to the field after a multi-week absence as he’s been completely removed from the injury report and ready to slot back into the lineup as the Eagles top tight end.
Player News
The Chiefs will play the Cowboys on Thanksgiving Day.
The Week 13 matchup will bring Patrick Mahomes and the AFC champion Chiefs to Dallas for the day’s late afternoon game. It could be a shootout if key players on both sides are healthy. Dak Prescott heads into the season with George Pickens as a legit WR2 behind CeeDee Lamb, and Mahomes — who has talked this offseason about more explosive plays for the KC offense — will have Xavier Worthy, Travis Kelce, Rashee Rice, and Hollywood Brown at his disposal. Mahomes has faced Dallas once in his NFL career, a Week 11 win in 2021 in which he threw for 260 scoreless yards. The hope for both the league and fantasy managers is that the Cowboys are still in postseason contention by the end of November.
Free agent Gabe Davis will visit the New York Giants.
Cut by the Jaguars after one season last week, Davis visited the 49ers on Monday. New York would be a reunion of sorts, as he played for Giants coach Brian Daboll in Buffalo. The G-Men already have several wideouts capable of stretching the field, but 26-year-old Davis could still be a decent role player in a strong offense. The problem, of course, is that the Giants profile as anything but, but rookie QB Jaxson Dart is comfortable throwing down the field.
Ravens S Ar’Darius Washington has been diagnosed with a torn achilles suffered during offseason training.
The fifth-year pro became a weekly starter for the first time last season, earning elite PFF marks in the process. He was a restricted free agent this spring but had yet to sign his $3.26 million tender. That’s a tough break, to put it mildly. Achilles timelines have shortened significantly in recent years, but Washington will probably still miss the entire 2025 campaign. The Ravens are protected in part by their first-round selection of fellow S Malaki Starks, but May is not the month you already want to be dipping into your depth. Going on 26, Washington’s career future is murky after he worked so hard to finally become a regular contributor last season.
Chiefs signed fourth-round WR Jalen Royals to a four-year contract.
Royals doesn’t have an obvious and open spot in the receiving corps to build short-term fantasy value with Xavier Worthy, Hollywood Brown, and Rashee Rice operating in the opening 11-personnel package. He may or may not play his way into WR4 duties depending on how the team feels about JuJu Smith-Schuster. Royals has plenty of talent and Brown is on a one-year deal, so there is a future where Royals is more than a bit player for the Chiefs. It likely won’t happen in his first season without injuries in front of him.
Matthew Judon said he “probably” won’t return to the Falcons in 2025.
The Falcons, of course, drafted both Jalon Walker and James Pearce in the first round. In an exclusive interview with CardPlayer.com — not to be confused with our PokerNews.com James Cook scoop a few days ago — Judon said that his sack total was down because “I dropped (into coverage) on 60 percent of the plays. It’s hard to get a pick and a sack on the same play.” Judon also told Kyle Odegard that “a couple” teams had expressed interest in him but he was in no rush to sign.
Jets released P Thomas Morstead.
Austin McNamara and Kai Kroeger will compete for the Jets punter job this year. The 39-year-old former Saint was the league’s oldest punter last season. If he wants to keep punting, he can absolutely join the tryout circuit or a competition elsewhere. But this is probably a sign that the Morstead’s 16-year career is close to an end at this point.
