You can also bounce ideas off other FantasyAlarm subscribers who you know are as engaged with the competition as you are.
Let's not waste any more time and get you chatting quickly.
How to connect with Discord
We recommend that you have a Discord account before you connect with ASN. If you are not on Discord, you can register here.
Let's Connect!
Now that you have accounts on both Discord and one of the ASN sites, you can start the process of connecting them and getting to chat with the rest of the FAmily!

Player News
Bennedict Mathurin (abdominals) is available for Game 5 against the Bucks on Tuesday.
Mathurin is available after sitting out Indiana’s Game 4 victory in Milwaukee. His return will likely result in fewer minutes for fellow reserve Ben Sheppard. Sheppard, who re-entered the Pacers’ rotation in Game 3 after Andrew Nembhard landed in early foul trouble, played 22 minutes in Game 4.
NewOrleans.Football’s Nick Underhill said he would be “flabbergasted” if Derek Carr played for the Saints this year.
“I would have trouble understanding why you would allow that to happen, you’re trying to build a new culture, you can’t let that guy ... you just got a rookie QB, this is the example you’re going to give him,” Underhill continued. Both Underhill and Mike Triplett believe Tyler Shough will be starting for the Saints in Week 1, with Underhill saying he had “80 percent or higher odds to start 80 percent of the games this year.” Shough would be an uninspiring superflex pick, perhaps a QB3, but given how things have played out with Carr over the past months it sure doesn’t seem like the Saints have a reason to want to continue this relationship. Mickey Loomis literally asked reporters to stop asking him Carr questions at his pre-draft press conference.
Austin Hays is absent from Wednesday’s lineup with a hamstring injury.
Reds manager Terry Francona told reporters they’re awaiting MRI results after Hays suffered a hamstring injury during Monday’s series opener against the Cardinals. It’s possible he’ll require a trip to the injured list, but he’s day-to-day for now. There should be an update regarding his status following Tuesday’s game.
Yordan Alvarez is in the lineup at DH for Wednesday’s showdown against the Tigers.
Alvarez is on Houston’s lineup card after being lifted for a pinch-runner during the seventh inning of Monday’s series opener. The Athletic’s Chandler Rome noted that Alvarez didn’t look comfortable on a slide into second base earlier in the contest, so it’s an encouraging sign for fantasy managers that he’s ready for Wednesday’s matchup at Daikin Park.
Brandon Waddell will be called up to make a spot start on Wednesday against the Diamondbacks.
Waddell hasn’t pitched in the big leagues since the 2021 season when he made nine relief appearances between three different organizations. The 30-year-old righty has been outstanding through five starts this season at Triple-A Syracuse, but he’s not a recommended streaming option for fantasy managers at this juncture.
Vikings signed LB Andrew Van Ginkel to a one-year, $23 million extension.
The deal contains $22.4 million guaranteed per Adam Schefter. The pick-six machine had a successful first year in Minnesota with an 81.0 PFF coverage grade, 11.5 sacks, and six passes defensed. Entering his age-30 season, this will tie him to Minnesota through the 2026 season.
