Running Backs
Top Handcuffs
Samaje Perine, WAS- Injuries have hit the Redskins hard with Robert Kelley and Chris Thompson suffering season ending injuries. This bumps rookie Samaje Perine into the starting lineup with essentialyl zero competition in Week 12. In Week 11 Perine rushed for a career best 117 yards and a score on 23 carries. Perine will look to continue his success on the ground in front of a national audience on Thanksgiving Day when the Redskins host the Giants.
Andre Ellington,
HOU- Ellington was surprisingly put on waivers by the Cardinals and was quickly claimed by the Texans who lost
D'Onta Foreman to a season ending injury in Week 11. Ellington figures to backup
Lamar Miller and help with pass catching duties on third downs. There is some PPR intrigue here but fantasy owners should take a wait and see approach.
Latavius Murray,
MIN- Murray rushed for two touchdowns in Week 11, much to the dismay of
Jerick McKinnon owners. There seems to be a relatively even time share here between the two backs but if Murray is going to get those goal line touches his value is certainly on the rise. Both backs should be owned in all formats this late in the season given all the injuries at the position.
Wide Receivers
Top Handcuffs
Bruce Ellington, HOU- With Will Fuller out of the lineup the Texans offense needed somebody to step up and be the No.2 reciever and Ellington did that in Week 11 when he caught six passes for 63 yards. DeAndre Hopkins is still going to dominate the targets but Ellington is worth grabbing in deeper leagues.
Kenny Golladay,
DET- Now healthy Golladay is looking fantasy viable again as a big play threat in the Lions pass heavy offense. He lags behind
Golden Tate and
Marvin Jones in targets but Golladay has totaled 116 yards on four catches of the last two games. With Detriot facing a tough Vikings defense on Thanksgiving Day it's possible Golladay could see some additional looks with Tate and Jones getting more focus.
Kenny Stills,
MIA- Stills is a big time playmaker and has flashed that explosive ability at times this season. Week 11 was one of those weeks as he caught seven passes for 180 yards and a touchdown. In Week 12 the Dolphins face the Patriots who were giving up plenty of yards through the air earlier this season and while the defense has improved Stills is still a decent option this week with the game plan likely focusing on
Jarvis Landry and DaVante Parker.
Tight End
Top Handcuffs
Ricky Seals-Jones,
ARI- Cardinals rookie
Ricky Seals-Jones likely frusterated many fantasy owners with his two touchdown performance in Week 11 with many hoping those scores were grabbed by
Larry Fitzgerald. Prior to Week 11 Seals-Jones had seen just one target but he saw five against the Texans and could find himself moving up the depth chart and thus worth fantasy consideration at a shallow position like tight end.
