DRAFTKINGS
Marvin Bagley , PF SAC ($5,000)
Bagley played 21 minutes in his first game back from injury and 34 minutes in his second one on Sunday. He had 23 points, nine rebounds, three assists and one steal for 40.25 DK points. With De'Aaron Fox and Tyrese Haliburton out and Harrison Barnes doubtful, Bagley will heavily involved in the offense against the Thunder, who have been one of the worst defensive teams over the last few weeks.
Kent Bazemore , SF GS ($5,300)
Bazemore has been playing well with at least 29.5 DK points in four straight games. He gets the same matchup as last night against the Pelicans. Bazemore had nine points, eight rebounds, three steals, two assists and two blocks last night in 31 minutes. The Pelicans are 27th in defensive efficiency.
Ty Jerome , PG/SG OKC ($3,500)
The minutes have been erratic lately with 23, 19, 24 and 31 minutes the last four games, but the Thunder have been awful defensively and playing at a fast pace. Jerome has 30, 14.5, 26 and 31 DK points the last four games and will play a Kings defense that is last in defensive efficiency and will be without De'Aaron Fox , Tyrese Haliburton and Harrison Barnes is doubtful.
FANDUEL
Delon Wright , PG SAC ($5,200)
Wright is looking at a higher usage rate against the Thunder. De'Aaron Fox and Tyrese Haliburton are out and Harrison Barnes is doubtful. Wright played 31 minutes in the last game against Dallas and had 14 points, five assists, two rebounds and two steals for 26.9 FD points. The Thunder have allowed at least 119 points in six of their last eight games.
Jalen McDaniels, PF CHA ($3,800)
McDaniels becomes more appealing if he starts and he might with P.J. Washington and Miles Bridges out. McDaniels played 26 minutes in the last game against Miami and had 12 points, nine rebounds and two assists for 23.8 FD points. McDaniels gets a good matchup against the Pistons and he played only 14 minutes against them on Saturday and had seven points, nine rebounds and two blocks.
Frank Jackson , SG DET ($4,300)
If the Pistons continue to rest players, Jackson can be considered. He has scored at least 18 points in four straight games and played 35 and 34 minutes the last two games. He has at least 22.1 FD points in the last four games, including 38.9 against the Hornets on Saturday, the team he will play tonight.
Player News
Warriors coach Steve Kerr told reporters Stephen Curry is day-to-day with a hamstring injury and will undergo an MRI on Wednesday.
Kerr relayed that Curry was “crushed” after being forced from the game due to injury. While Kerr described Curry as day-to-day, he also mentioned that the 37-year-old point guard will undergo imaging on Wednesday to determine the severity of the injury. There should be an update on his status at some point prior to Thursday’s Game 2 showdown. With the Warriors taking Game 1 on the road Tuesday, Kerr added that it’s hard to imagine Curry being available for Game 2 on Thursday. With Game 3 Saturday at Golden State, Curry could have more time to rest and recover.
Naz Reid had 19 points (8-of-14 FGs), five rebounds, one assist, one steal, one block and three three-pointers in Game 1 against the Warriors on Tuesday.
Reid briefly left the floor with an apparent leg injury towards the end of the second quarter before returning in the second half. The 25-year-old center played 34 minutes and was the second leading scorer for the Timberwolves in what turned out to be a lackluster game for Minnesota. Reid appeared healthy in the second half and should continue to be counted on for starter-level minutes despite coming off the bench.
Anthony Edwards had 23 points (9-of-22 FGs), 14 rebounds, two assists, three steals, one block and one three-pointer in Game 1 against the Warriors on Tuesday.
