Welcome back for another episode of the Fantasy Alarm NBA DFS Value Vault! We have a small 6-game main slate for this wonderful Sunday, and I'll be honest, there isn't just a ton of value on the slate today. Let's see where we are at so far.
DRAFTKINGS
- Chandler Hutchinson ($4,600)- Hutchinson is probable to play today as the Bulls travel into PHI to take on the Sixers. Hutchinson has been filling in rather nicely as the starting SF for the Bulls since the Dunn injury, as well as the absence of Denzle Valentine. Hutch has played 28+ mins in three of his last four, while also putting up 30, 27, 23, and 31 DK points over his last four as well. He has scored 17, 16, and 21 actual points, grabbed five, eight, and nine boards over his last three of four, along with a total of six steals over that span as well. It is also worth noting that his 13+ FGAs over his last three of four are very encouraging as well. Like the price once again tonight on Hutch here.
- Ish Smith ($5,000)- Ish is now the starting PG for the Wiz after the Isaiah Thomas departure, and as a result was granted 30 minutes on the floor in their first game sans IT. In that game, Ish also put up 34.5 DK points on a 14 points, six rebounds, six assists, a steal, and a block stat-line. With Shabazz Napier still working into the Wizard's system, I will continue to expect good minutes out of Ish, and at this price today, I am a fan against the Grizz, who we know have struggled against the PG spot this season. Ish has put up at least 24 or more DK points in three of his last five, while also dishing out at least six or more assists in four of his last five as well. Can expect Ish to contribute in most categories, especially in this high-paced affair tonight with the Grizz.
- Goran Dragic ($5,900)- Didn't want to have two PGs for the DK side of this article, however, with as bad as POR is, allowing the 2nd most DK points to the PG spot over their last 10, it was just inevitable to not like the price on Dragic here in a pace-up spot with POR. The Heat have already ruled out Jimmy Butler once again for tonight, and Dragic sees a slight bump with him out. Dragic has notched out 26 or more fantasy points in his last seven of nine tilts, dished four or more assists over his last five of six, and has a total of six steals as well over his last five. A good spot here for him tonight in POR.
FANDUEL
- Kyle Anderson ($4,300)- Really didn't want to have to put slow-mo in this article as well, but when I said there wasn't a ton of value, I was not lying. Nonetheless, Anderson should continue to start today with Jae Crowder gone, as well as Solomon Hill , making KA one of the only SFs on the roster. Anderson has played 23 or more minutes in three of his last four, while accruing four total blocks, three total steals, during his last four contests. He has put up 6+ points, 5+ rebounds, and 3+ assists over his last two as well when given extra run. Decent value on Anderson tonight against the Wiz.
- Duncan Robinson ($4,700)- Don't mind Duncan on both sites, but since he is $500 cheaper on FD, I decided to include him in the FD list. Duncan played a season-high 41 minutes in the Heat's last game without Jimmy Butler , and as a result put up 32 FD points. Duncan has now topped 18 actual in three of his last five, while also seeing at least 33 or more minutes on the court in six of his last seven. Much like Dragic, Robinson should continue to see an up-tick in usage with Butler out, even if Iggy makes his debut today. We also know how badly POR struggles against Guards.
- Elfrid Payton ($7,300)- If you are looking for a mid-tier PG with upside, Elf is your guy. Can get him at $200 cheaper on FanDuel, and his defensive stats have been off the charts lately, as he has recorded 12 total steals over his last five games, along with 10+ points, 7+ boards in three of his last four, and 8+ assists in four his last five as well. Elf has also put up 37, 52.3, 54.7, 43.9, and 35 FD points over his last five tilts. Elf gets the absolute best match up of the day, as the Knicks will travel to ATL, in a massive pace-up spot, AND the most allowing FP team to the PG spot! Love some Elf today.
