Another perfect day from Fantasy Alarm NBA Best Bets, two of two bets were successful! Jalen Brunson did not make his anticipated return yesterday and his player proposition was voided. However the Milwaukee Bucks made a comeback effort against the Miami Heat, and cleared the -2.0 spread.

Rudy Gobert once again came through on a plus odds proposition on his rebounds, as he earned his thirteenth rebound well before the game ended. The perfect night earned +1.94 units, and the goal is to earn more than that with our three NBA best bets today.

NBA Picks, Predictions & Best Bets Today, 4/6

There are 11 games across the Association today as the NBA prepares for its last week of the regular season. The first NBA best bet today comes from a match in the great Pacific Northwest.

Spurs vs Trail Blazers Prediction: Portland -3.0 (-110 on Bet365) *BET OF THE NIGHT

The Portland Trail Blazers host the San Antonio Spurs at the Moda Center in an early local start time of 3:00 PM PT. The Trail Blazers’ backs are up against the wall, and they can not lose one game to have any hope of making the play-in. They are currently 3.5 games behind the Sacramento Kings for tenth, and only have four more games on their schedule.

They would need the Kings to lose out, and they would need to win out to surpass the Kings 37 wins. It’s highly unlikely but the Trail Blazers are not tanking. They are attempting to give their young core group of players meaningful playing time. Portland comes into this match as -3.0 favorites against San Antonio, who has already been eliminated from the play-in.

The teams are basically a wash on points scored and allowed per game, and Portland has lost five of their last ten games, while San Antonio has lost six of their last ten. One major area of disparity is home record compared to record on the road. Despite Portland having a losing record this season, they have a winning record at home, 20-18. Meanwhile the Spurs have twice as many losses as they do wins when away from San Antonio, 12-24.

Portland has eight players listed as either out or questionable, including Deni Avdija. He is listed as questionable with a right thumb sprain, but has been a force for Portland since the All-Star break. He has six double doubles since March 16th, and one triple double just three games ago. He seems to be settled into his role with the Trail Blazers and has potential to be a star in this league under the tutelage of Head Coach Chauncey Billups. Look for him to make a big impact in the absence of Scoot Henderson and DeAndre Ayton. Put a unit on the Trail Blazers to cover and make sure to take advantage of a Bet365 promotional offer at the end of this article.

Wizards vs Celtics Prediction: Washington +20.5 (-110 on FanDuel Sportsbook)

The Boston Celtics host the Washington Wizards as the best team over the past two seasons plays the worst team of the last two seasons. TD Garden could be in for an easy victory as the Celtics are favored by -20.5 points. Granted the Wizards are an awful team, but 21 points is too disrespectful.

The Wizards are currently last in the Eastern Conference with a 17 - 60 record, without much hope of climbing any higher. They will be due for another high draft pick this summer, but the team is playing better now than it was to begin the season. They do have a decent offense which has surprised good teams who took them lightly.

That could be the case tonight against Boston who are on cruise control until the playoffs begin. Washington averages 108.5 points per game, while the Celtics average 116.8, that is a difference of 8.3 points. Washington allows 120.6 points per game, which is 3.8 points more than Boston averages. 3.8 points added to 8.3 points is only a combined difference of 12.1 points, a difference of over eight points compared to the set spread.

Three of their last four games have been well under 20.5 point losses. They lost by 12 and 3 in two of those matches, and won by 5 points against the Sacramento Kings. The Wizards have more wins on the road than at home this season, and they should continue their streak of playing better than the sportsbooks anticipate.

Put a unit on Washington to cover the +20.5 point spread on FanDuel right now. To those that may not have FanDuel Sportsbook downloaded, make sure to take advantage of Fantasy Alarm’s offer for new customers.

Best NBA Prop Bets & Other Picks Today, 4/6

With 11 games taking place, the player propositions seem endless. The last NBA best bet today takes a look at a player with near even odds.

Predictions: Jamal Murray O19.5 Points (-105 on DraftKings Sportsbook)

Jamal Murray is expected to make his return to the Denver Nuggets starting lineup after missing four consecutive matches. Murray has missed six of the last ten games, and is having lingering issues with a hamstring injury from this offseason. The Nuggets need him in a bad way after losing three in a row without him.

Murray’s presence completely shifts the dynamics of the Nuggets offense. He can create his own scoring opportunities, and has several places on the floor that he feels comfortable scoring from. At the rim, at the elbow, at the top of the key, at the three point line, and his patented in the paint-step back fade away. The two-man game between him and Nikola Jokic is arguably the best of this decade, and they are one of the most elite scoring tandems of all time.

The former Kentucky Wildcat is averaging 21.6 points per game this season, which if upholds would be a career high. Murray is what some define as being a clutch scorer, and in games when the pressure is on, he delivers. Most of the time it’s wise to let Jokic take advantage of mismatches, and allow him to score or find the teammate open due to the double-team.

When Jokic can not do those things, Jamal is there to not only pick up slack, but lead the way. The data backs it up too. In Murray’s last four games that he has played, he has field goal attempts of; 10, 15, 22, and 28. In the games with fifteen or less attempts, he did not cover the proposition, but in games with 22 or more field goals he scored 28 and 39 points.

The Indiana Pacers are a fast paced team that average 117.4 points per game. Denver averages 120.7 and this should be a back and forth, high scoring game, which helps the odds of the bet being successful. The total is currently set at 238.5 points, which is the second highest of the eleven games today.

Indiana comes to Ball Arena on a three game winning streak, and winners of eight of their last ten games. Denver is in a delicate positional battle, and although currently in fourth place, they are only 1.0 game ahead of eighth place. A loss puts them at risk of being booted from the playoffs, and into the play-in. They desperately need to win to avoid the play-in and rest their injured players, and must play with maximum effort tonight.

Look for Murray to come through in the clutch with several points against the Pacers. Put a unit on it a DraftKings at near even odds, and if not already a customer with their sportsbook, make sure to take advantage of Fantasy Alarm’s promotional offer.
