Kawhi LeonardSFLACKneeOct 24thNo TimetableLeonard has played a limited amount of minutes to start the season and his lower-body, especially his knee, isn't responding well to him being back on the floor. Leonard is apparently going to get treatment on his knee. Norman Powell and Luke Kennard will benefit by getting more shots.
Zion WilliamsonPFNOPHipOct 23rdDAY TO DAYThe Pelicans frontcourt is a bit banged up right now and we should expect them to be extra careful with Williamson when he gets hurt. Larry Nance Jr and Trey Murphy will benefit by getting more minutes with Brandon Ingram and Herbert Jones hurt as well.
Josh GiddeyG/SFOKCAnkleOct 23rdDAY TO DAYWith Giddey sidelined with an injured ankle, Tre Mann and Aaron Wiggins will see more playing time and Luguentz Dort will be prioritized more in the offense becomming the second prioritized scorer behind Shai Gilgeous-Alexander
Brandon IngramFNOPConcussionOct 23rdNo TimetableIngram is in the protocol and while he's out, Herbert Jones and Trey Murphy will have to help fill in at forward. CJ McCollum will get even more time with the ball. Ingram will likely need a couple of games to get cleared.
Herbert JonesFNOPKneeOct 23rdDAY TO DAYJones is another member of the Pelicans frontcourt that is on the shelf and they've needed Trey Murphy and Larry Nance Jr. to help Jonas Valanciunas cover the low block. For now, Jones is DTD, but his time off could potentially be lengthened if his knee which he apparently hyper-extended doesn't recover quickly.
Donte DiVincenzoGGSWHamstringOct 23rdEarly NovemberDiVincenzo shouldn't be out long-term, but for at least the Warriors next few games, Jordan Poole and Moses Moody will see more minutes and provide PG relief for Stephen Curry.
Scottie BarnesFTORAnkleOct 22ndDAY TO DAYBarnes sprained his ankle the other night and with him out of the lineup, OG Anunoby and Pascal Siakam will be featured even more in the Raptors offense. Precious Achiuwa is Barnes primary fill-in.
Tim Hardaway Jr.SG/SFDALFootOct 22ndDAY TO DAYHardaway missed his last game with soreness in his foot and if he needs to take more games off, Spencer Dinwiddie will see more shots and Josh Green will get more minutes off the bench.
Terry RozierGCHAAnkleOct 21stDAY TO DAYRozier, who has had to fill in for the injured LaMelo Ball injured his ankle and he may need another game or two to recover. While he's out Dennis Smith Jr. and Kelly Oubre Jr. will help fill in at the guard spots.
Jalen SuggsGORLAnkleOct 21stDAY TO DAYWe haven't seen Suggs since back on the floor in almost a week and while he still has a DTD timetable, he may be off for longer with this ankle injury. Cole Anthony will see more usage and Terrence Ross will continue to start. We could see R.J. Hampton even steal a few more reserve minutes.
Kyle AndersonFMINBackOct 21stDAY TO DAYAnderson's back has been bothering him and while he recovers, Jaden McDaniels will see mid-30s minutes and Taurean Prince becomes relevant again getting key minutes off the bench.
Myles TurnerCINDAnkleOct 19thDAY TO DAYTurner hurt himself in warmups before the Pacers season opener and we haven't seen him since, but, there's a chance he gets on the court Wednesday night. Jalen Smith, Isaiah Jackson and Goga Bitadze have all filled in while he's been out.
Darius GarlandPGCLEEyeOct 19thDAY TO DAYWhile Garland's been sidelined, Donovan Mitchell has done an excellent job of running the point. Garland likely won't return Wednesday, but we could see him hit the court at the end of the week.
Cody MartinSG/SFCHAKneeOct 19thNo TimetableMartin hurt his knee in the Hornets first game of the season after playing just one minute and we don't know when he'll be back on the floor. The Hornets backcourt is banged up currently and Kelly Oubre Jr. will be a key contributor along with Dennis Smith Jr. and James Bouknight.
Jalen WilliamsSG/SFOKCEyeOct 19thNovemberWilliams needed to have a procedure to repair a face fracture and he'll need at least a few more games to recover. Kenrich Williams, Aleksej Pokusevski and Darius Bazley will see more minutes with Williams sidelined.
LaMelo BallPGCHAAnklePre-SeasonNo TimetableThere isn't a clear plan regarding when Ball is set to return after suffering a pretty bad ankle sprain in early October. He may need another couple of weeks to fully recover. While he's out Dennis Smith Jr. and Terry Rozier (when healthy) will run the point.
Khris MiddletonFMILWristPre-SeasonNovemberWe've been told that Middleton would need a few weeks to recover from wrist surgery and he should be able to play at some point in November. Until then. Grayson Allen walks into more shots and Jordan Nwora and Wes Matthews will see an uptick in minutes.
Robert WilliamsCBOSKneePre-SeasonNo TimetableWilliams had surgery on his Knee and it isn't recovering and it wouldn't be surprising if Williams is out until March. Reports indicate that he won't be ready until after the all-star break. While he's out, Al Horford will start at center and Noah Vonleh will back him up with Grant Williams helping out more at PF.
Jaren Jackson Jr.PF/CMEMFootPre-SeasonNo TimetableJackson is no stranger to injuries and Memphis will be careful and give him as much time to recover as he needs. We don't know when we'll see him take the floor, but he should make it back before the year turns. Santi Aldama will be Jackson's primary fill-in with Brandon Clarke getting more reserve minutes.
Davis BertansPF/CDALKneePre-SeasonNo TimetableBertans won't play too many minutes even when he's healthy as he sits behind Christian Wood and Dwight Powell for reserve minutes. JaVale McGee continues to start.
Lonzo BallPGCHIKneePre-SeasonNo TimetableThere have been questions surrouding whether we even see Ball play this season so we don't know when we'll see him out there. Ayo Dosunmu will continue drawing starts and both Goran Dragic and Coby White are other options to run the point. Zach LaVine will bring up the rock too.
Quentin GrimesSG/SFNYKFootPre-SeasonDAY TO DAYGrimes has yet to suit up this season but when he is recovered from his foot injury, he'll play a major role on this team likely coming off the bench. With Evan Fournier as the starter, Immanuel Quickley and Derrick Rose should see more action. Cam Reddish will indirectly benefit when RJ Barrett shifts down.
Dennis SchroderPGLALThumbPre-SeasonNovemberSchroder is recovering from surgery on his Thumb and while he's out Patrick Beverley and Russell Westbrook will help bring up the ball and we can't forget about LeBron James who already leads the Lakers in assists per game.
Gary HarrisSG/SFORLKneePre-SeasonNo TimetableWith Harris sidelined with an unspecified return date, we'll see Terrence Ross, who has been starting, get more minutes even when Jalen Suggs is healthy. Franz Wagner will need to play more as well.
Corey KispertSG/SFWASAnklePre-SeasonNovemberKispert is starting to practice with the Wizards G-league team which is encouraging that we may be able to see him in action very early in November. He'll likely be fighting Deni Avdija and Will Barton for playing time when he is ready to return.
Kira Lewis Jr.PGNOPTorn ACLPre-SeasonNo TimetableLewis is recovering from multiple knee injuries and we don't know when he'll be back on the floor. CJ McCollum, Devonte' Graham and Jose Alvarado will help run the point.
Otto Porter Jr.FTORHamstringPre-SeasonNo TimetableWe don't know when Porter will take the court at this point but until that day comes, Precious Achiuwa will see reserve minutes off the bench.
Danilo GallinariPFBOSTorn ACLPre-SeasonOUT FOR THE SEASONGallinari won't play this season after tearing his ACL. Grant Williams and Blake Griffin will help Jayson Tatum guard the post.
Ricky RubioPGCLETorn ACLPre-SeasonNo TimetableRubio tore his ACL at the end of last year and as we wait for him to recover, Donovan Mitchell and Raul Neto will help Darius Garland run the point.
Alec BurksG/SFDETFootPre-SeasonNo TimetableWith Burks sidelined without a clear return date, we get to enjoy the Pistons young backcourt of Jaden Ivey and Cade Cunningham. Cory Joseph and Hamidou Diallo will continue to get more playing time.
Gary Payton IIGPORAbsPre-SeasonNo TimetableWe should have an idea in the next few days regarding how Payton's recovery from surgery on his abs is going and when we'll see him back on the floor. Rookie Shaedon Sharpe will continue having a bigger role until Payton is ready. Payton will be a key reserve for Portland when he's unleashed.
Omer YurtsevenCMIAAnklePre-SeasonNo TimetableYurtseven should get more playing time when he's active, but the Heat will give Dewayne Dedmon the reserve minutes behind Bam Adebayo who has been playing over 35 minutes per game.
Jae'Sean TateFHOUAnklePre-SeasonDAY TO DAYWe should see Tate back on the floor in the next game or two and he should start at SF for the Rockets, but if he needs anymore time off Eric Gordon and Tari Eason will benefit by receiving more minutes.
Udoka AzubuikeCUTAAnklePre-SeasonNo TimetableIt was expected that Azubuike would take over at center with Rudy Gobert traded away, but we don't know when we'll see him on the court. Kelly Olynyk, Walker Kessler and Jarred Vanderbilt will divide up the center minutes.
Trendon WatfordPF/CPORHipPre-SeasonNo TimetableWatford has a strained hip and while he's out Justise Winslow and Nassir Little will help fill the void and play more off the bench.
TyTy WashingtonPGHOUKneePre-SeasonNo TimetableEven when Washington is ready to play, it'll be hard for him to earn consistent minutes behind Jalen Green, Kevin Porter Jr. and Eric Gordon. We haven't been given a timetable regarding his return.
Pat ConnaughtonSG/SFMILCalfPre-SeasonNovemberConnaughton is dealing with a strained calf and while he's out, Jordan Nwora will see key minutes and Grayson Allen's shots are safe. Wes Matthews will continue seeing more action, but eventually it will be a log-jam of mid-court shooters in the Bucks rotation.
Markelle FultzPGORLToePre-SeasonNo TimetableFultz always gets hurt and we don't know when he'll be ready to take the court after fracturing his toe and while he's out Cole Anthony, Jalen Suggs (when healthy) and RJ Hampton will help run the point.
Thomas BryantCLALThumbPre-SeasonNo TimetableWe'll know more about Bryant's status in early November as he had surgery on his injured thumb. Anthony Davis will continue playing in the middle and LeBron James and Juan Toscano-Anderson will have to help guard the post.
Seth CurryGBKNAnklePre-SeasonNo TimetableWhen Curry is ready to play, he'll get 25-30 minutes per game most nights especially when the Nets need more offense because Ben Simmons isn't much help in that department. When he's ready to return Patty Mills minutes will be threatened. Curry could find himself fighting Joe Harris for minutes off the bench.
Marvin Bagley IIIPF/CDETKneePre-SeasonNo TimetableBagley suffered multiple injuries to his knee and he may need a couple of months to recover and Bojan Bogdanovic will continue seeing 30 minutes per game and Jalen Duren should continue to split center minutes with Isaiah Stewart.
Victor OladipoSG/SFMIAKneePre-SeasonNo TimetableOladipo is another player who isn't a stranger to health issues and even when he's ready to play, he'll have his minutes monitored. Max Strus has been playing over 30 minutes per game and will continue doing so even when Oladipo plays for the a good amount of the season.
Jonathan IsaacFORLKneePre-SeasonNo TimetableIt's hard to tell when Isaac will make his return to NBA action for the first time in over two seasons. Even when he eventually gets on the floor, he'll be under heavy playing time restrictions. Chuma Okeke and Mo Bamba's minutes are safe. Bol Bol has been getting minutes as well.
Joe InglesFMILKneePre-SeasonNo TimetableIngles is coming off of a torn ACL, and we won't see him take the floor for a few months. While he's out Wes Matthews and Jordan Nwora will continue seeing more playing time even when Khris Middleton re-joins the team.
T.J. WarrenFBKNFootPre-SeasonNo TimetableWarren isn't ready to take full contact in practice and will need more time to get in game-shape and while he's sidelined, Royce O'Neale will continue starting and Markieff Morris will see reserve minutes at PF relieving Kevin Durant.
Ziaire WilliamsSFMEMKneePre-SeasonDAY TO DAYWilliams hasn't played yet but we should see him on the court in the next few games. Dillon Brooks will get even more playing time and John Konchar has done an excellent job producing points, boards and steals in the mid-court.
Daniel TheisCINDKneePre-SeasonDAY TO DAYTheis is dealing with a sore Knee and with Myles Turner back in action, Isaiah Jackson and Jalen Smith can help relieve Turner at the position pushing Theis way down the bench when he's healthy.
Mo WagnerPF/CORLFootPre-SeasonNo TimetableWagner is not only dealing with a sprained foot, but once healthy, it'll be hard for him to get minutes behind Wendell Carter Jr. and Mo Bamba.
