Huge night in the daily hoops with 12 games on the slate. Plenty of superstars are playing tonight, but which ones should you target? The best option is Anthony Davis because the Celtics front court is brutal and Davis appears 100 percent healthy. LeBron is a good GPP option as the Atlanta/Cleveland game is going have a playoff type of feel to it. However, Atlanta is a tough matchup for LeBron, which is why he is a better GPP option than a cash game option. James Harden always has a huge ceiling and has a great matchup, but he has only reached value in two out of the past seven games he has played.
The point guard position is loaded with quality mid-tier and low-tier options. Jeff Teague, Mo Williams, George Hill, and Reggie Jackson are all quality plays. Mike Conley has burned me the last two times I've suggested him, but he gets a favorable matchup vs the Lakers tonight (he's averaging almost 38 fantasy points vs them this season). Jeremy Lin and Trey Burke are two low-tier options that have crushed their value recently. Both players are exceptional options on DraftKings. Two players to keep an eye on before lineups lock are Rajon Rondo and Isaiah Thomas. Rondo would become one of the best value plays if J.J. Barea does not play ( Devin Harris has already been ruled out) because that will force Rondo to play huge minutes, while Thomas would become a solid value option on DraftKings/Aces if he starts in place of Avery Bradley.
The shooting guard position is tough tonight because there are only a few good options at the position. Dwyane Wade is the best option based on his safe floor and high ceiling. Evan Turner is a good mid-tier option that should have no problem reaching 25 fantasy points with the chance to reach 40 fantasy points. Will Barton and Jason Richardson are quality low-tier options at the position. Really like Victor Oladipo on Aces, especially if Evan Fournier and Luke Ridnour don't play. The small forward position has a good amount of options at the top of the position with LeBron James, Kawhi Leonard, and Rudy Gay. Leonard has put up some huge games vs Denver this season and is the safest play at the position even though this game could get out of hand fast. Danilo Gallinari continues to produce 25-30 fantasy points per game, which is fine for his price tag on Aces/Fanduel.
Nikola Mirotic continues to put huge games while not costing that much, which is why he is my favorite option at the position. Anthony Davis is going to have another big game tonight vs the Celtics. Kenneth Faried's price tag has drastically increased, but he is still a solid option despite the tough matchup. Donatas Motiejunas becomes an amazing value option if Terrence Jones doesn't play. Derrick Favors is a good mid-tier option because he destroyed the Sixers last time he faced them and is a contrarian play.
The center position has so many great options tonight that is hard to pick just one of these guys. Marc Gasol is the best option considering his amazing matchup, but his ceiling is lower than others at the position because of the blowout potential in his game. Andre Drummond should have another big game as the Rockets have no one that can contain him. DeMarcus Cousins is still cheap on DraftKings despite his amazing potential and juicy matchup vs the Magic. Marcin Gortat continues to be under priced on Fanduel.
