Huge night in the NBA with 13 games on the slate. The top options tonight are Chris Paul, LaMarcus Aldridge, and DeMarcus Cousins. Russell Westbrook is back, but I'm avoiding him tonight because his price tag has soared across the board and this game will likely be a blow, which means Westbrook is unlikely to reach value (which is about 60 fantasy points on all sites). LeBron is a good play in GPPs, but his price tag is too high to use in cash games. We're going to see another vintage Chris Paul performance as he'll be forced to do everything for the Clippers.
The point guard position is loaded tonight as there quality options at every price range. Mo Williams, Jeremy Lin, and George Hill have all been putting big games recently and none of them cost that much. Ricky Rubio has been balling out and is a must-start on FantasyAces. The shooting guard position is the best place to save money at as Rodney Stuckey, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, and Louis Williams are all quality low-tier options. Kevin Martin is going to have a huge game as long as his shots are falling. Also like Evan Turner to bounce back by exceeding his value tonight. Klay Thompson is a decent option on Fanduel.
The small forward position is top heavy with LeBron James, Gordon Hayward, Kawhi Leonard, and Andrew Wiggins as great options tonight. P.J. Tucker is better for GPPs because he is a boom or bust type of player that will play a lot of minutes. Look at using Danilo Gallinari and Jae Crowder as low-tier options for a second small forward on Fanduel.
The power forward position is pretty cut and dry tonight as Derrick Favors is going to feast on the Celtics front court. LaMarcus Aldridge is a great option as well since he has played well vs the Clippers this season. Kenneth Faried is the best value play at the position as he saw an increase in minutes under their new head coach. He should put up another double-double tonight vs Minnesota, a team he has dominated this season.
There are so many great options at center that is hard to pick just one of these guys. Alex Len is still incredibly cheap on all sites, while DeMarcus Cousins is officially back and makes for a great GPP option on DraftKings and Fanduel. Hassan Whiteside gets a dream matchup vs the sorry Lakers front court, which makes him an amazing option on all sites. Good luck tonight!
