NASCAR DFS Ally 400 Core Plays: Ross Chastain and Tyler Reddick Lead Field
Sunday's Ally 400 at Nashville Speedway is set to be an electric affair, just like the electric guitar the winner gets. Friday's practice session and Saturday's qualifying session have set the field in an interesting way and gave Ross Chastain his first-ever pole in the NASCAR Cup Series. The front row for the Ally 400 matches up two of the most-electric drivers in the sport with Chastain and Tyler Reddick, sporting a Garth Brooks paint scheme for Music City and just how does that effect us for DFS? The core plays are listed below.
When building DFS lineups for NASCAR DFS it’s important to look at a core of drivers, rather than a full lineup at a time. Just like most DFS sports, building around cores of players, or drivers in this case, and then filling in around it is the best way to see success in both cash and GPP contests. Regardless of the style of track, the core build method is the way that Dan Malin and myself approach our builds and then we get exposure to other drivers by sprinkling them into the builds as well. That way when different cores do well, we see more green by the checkered flag.
The Core Plays table below should be read from left to right based on the site and game type you’re building for. They are not designed to add up to the salary cap nor are they designed to be plugged in as full lineups. For certain races there’ll be more for top tier than the value tier and vice versa and the same goes for the mid-tier. It simply depends on the race and the setup of the field.
Good luck in tonight's Ally 400 from Nashville Superspeedway for DFS!
