All of the options. That is what we get tonight as part of the MLB DFS main slate as all 15 games are available to us on DraftKings. Both FanDuel and Yahoo Fantasy exclude the back end of the double-header between St. Louis and Pittsburgh tonight, but we are certainly not lacking in tonight’s player pool for MLB daily fantasy lineups. This makes it more critical to stay up to date with the latest MLB news, MLB Lineups, and MLB weather report leading up to game time. It also means that it is more important to find some MLB DFS value options for your daily fantasy baseball lineups. Headlining the value targets tonight is Miami Marlins pitcher Trevor Rogers in a matchup against the Philadelphia Phillies. We also have plenty of lower-priced hitters for MLB daily fantasy lineups. Be sure to keep an eye on the latest MLB daily projections as well. Let’s now take a look at some MLB DFS top plays in the value range for Tuesday, June 14th daily fantasy baseball lineups.

MLB DFS Value Pitchers

Trevor Rogers (MIA)

DraftKings - $6,300; FanDuel - $7,000; Yahoo - $37

Philadelphia has been hot as of late so it is tough to target against them, but we have to go somewhere for value at pitcher. In this case, Rogers is a better pitcher than his price suggests for MLB DFS lineups. Last season, Rogers posted a 2.64 ERA while striking out more than 10 batters per nine innings but things haven’t been nearly as smooth this year with a 5.58 ERA. Rogers does have a 4.84 xERA and 4.51 xFIP, so the performance has been a little better than the results despite the drop-off to 7.92 strikeouts per nine innings. After allowing just 0.41 home runs per nine last year, that has jumped to 1.44 so far in 2022 and it is certainly something to be aware of. Rogers is allowing a reasonable 8.9% barrel rate and he did pick up a victory against Washington in his last start with five innings of two-run ball while striking out five on his way to 17 DK points. Things have been up and down for Rogers this season, but in a GPP format, he has the best track record of pitchers at a similar price point.

José Urquidy (HOU)

DraftKings - $6,400; FanDuel - $7,200; Yahoo - $32

We have seen very good starts from Urquidy this season and we have also seen some pretty bad ones. At this price point, though, it is the upside we are after. While the right-hander only strikes out seven batters per nine innings, pitching for Houston does give him a good chance at a victory each time out. Urquidy has five victories in 11 starts so far this season and he also has been hindered by a .351 BABIP – though allowing 1.79 home runs per nine innings also hasn’t helped. A 4.58 xFIP does make me feel a little better and if we can get Urquidy through five or six innings and get a victory, he will have done his job.

MLB DFS Value Hitters

Ji-Man Choi, 1B (TB)

DraftKings - $3,700; FanDuel - $3,100; Yahoo - $10

I like Choi on all sites tonight, but he’s almost a free square on Yahoo. Yes, Choi is facing Gerrit Cole but in his case, it is a good thing. The Tampa Bay first baseman has four home runs and a .400 batting average in 25 career at-bats against Cole. Choi is slotted in as the cleanup hitter for the Rays tonight and he gets the chance to take advantage of the short porch in right field at Yankee Stadium. In 41 games this season, Choi is hitting a solid .284 with five home runs and 31 RBI and he is in a good position to succeed tonight.

Rob Refsnyder, OF (BOS)

DraftKings - $2,200; FanDuel - $2,000; Yahoo - $7

It’s not really surprising that Boston is projected to score close to six runs tonight against Jared Koenig and the Oakland Athletics. The Red Sox will be a popular stack tonight and Refsnyder’s price helps him fit cleanly in all lineups as he benefits from the platoon advantage. Refsnyder is hitting .273 in five games and we don’t need much from him tonight as long as he gets on base as the likelihood that he comes around to score is pretty good.

Nomar Mazara, OF (SD)

DraftKings - $2,000; FanDuel - $2,200; Yahoo - $10

The wind is blowing out tonight at Wrigley Field and Kyle Hendricks (5.22 ERA and 1.69 home runs per nine innings) is simply not very good. Out of 147 batters faced, Hendricks has allowed nine home runs already this season against left-handed hitters – which puts Mazara squarely on the radar. Earlier in his career, Mazara had three straight seasons of 20 home runs (and a fourth with 19). Though that power hasn’t been seen since 2019, the outfielder hasn’t forgotten how to hit and he boasts a .333 batting average in 28 plate appearances so far this year with San Diego.

Oscar Gonzalez, OF (CLE)

DraftKings - $2,900; FanDuel - $2,800; Yahoo - $14

It’s a Coors Field slate, so I couldn’t leave without offering a cost-effective option. Gonzalez saw a nine-game hitting streak come to a conclusion on Sunday and the thought process is that he kicks a new one off tonight. This is a game in which Cleveland is projected to score more than six runs in the hitter-friendly park. In 16 games this season, Gonzalez is hitting .391 with six RBI and six runs scored, and while he doesn’t walk (1.5% BB rate) the Guardians outfielder also doesn’t strike out (12.3% K rate). Half of Gonzalez’s batted balls (28 of 56) have been hit hard and while there are questions about his long-term sustainability, I want some exposure to Coors tonight.
