Yahoo Fantasy Baseball - MLB DFS Heart Of The Order July 10: Kris Bryant Stays Hot Against Arizona
Published: Jul 10, 2022
For today's MLB DFS action, I would love to get some exposure to those Atlanta bats, but the Atlanta weather has me a bit uneasy about locking in the likes of Austin Riley and Ronald Acuña Jr., amongst others. If you haven't done so already, go ahead and bookmark our MLB Weather Center so you know all of the weather-related happenings around the ballparks on today's slate. When looking at the slate today, there are some decent value options on the mound, and I'll definitely be looking to one of them in particular, looking at you Eric Lauer, but my favorite pitcher is Julio Urías going up against the Cubs. There are a few different MLB DFS stacks you could look towards this afternoon, but when crunching the numbers and looking at various points, I've settled in on the Chicago White Sox, headlined by José Abreu, and the Colorado Rockies, featuring Kris Bryant. Gavin Sheets is an affordable value option for the former. After locking these four guys in your MLB DFS lineups for Yahoo DFS this afternoon, check out our daily projections and the other MLB DFS content that we have to help round out your winning DFS lineups. Without further ado, here is today's Yahoo Fantasy Heart of the Order for Sunday, July 10.

Player News
Brendan Donovan was scratched from the lineup for Tuesday’s game against the Orioles.
No word yet on the reason for the move and whether it’s injury-related. It’ll be Jordan Walker entering the lineup in his place with Nolan Gorman moving over to cover second base. There should be an update on his status shortly.
Corey Seager (hamstring) will be activated from the injured list for Wednesday’s series finale against the Blue Jays.
Seager will inject some life into Texas’ struggling lineup, which has been struggling in his absence. The 31-year-old fantasy stalwart will return after missing just over two weeks with a right hamstring strain. He was hitting .300/.346/.520 with six homers and 12 RBI in 26 games prior to hitting the shelf in mid-May.
Jerar Encarnacion (hand) will play in a minor league rehab game on Tuesday for Triple-A Sacramento.
The hope is that Encarnacion will only need a few tune-up games before making it back to San Francisco for his season debut. The 27-year-old slugger has been out since spring training recovering from surgery to repair a left hand fracture.
Jazz Chisholm Jr. (oblique) will begin a minor league rehab assignment this week with Double-A Somerset.
Chisholm took batting practice on Tuesday at Double-A Somerset and figures to get into game action at some point this week. Yankees manager Aaron Boone told reporters earlier this week that the 26-year-old spark plug could return to New York’s lineup at some point next week.
Tigers activated OF Wenceel Pérez from the 10-day injured list.
Pérez returns to Detroit’s lineup ahead of Tuesday’s game against the Giants with Matt Vierling heading back to the injured list with shoulder inflammation. The 25-year-old outfielder has been on the shelf since the end of spring training with a back issue. He’ll factor in the Tigers’ center field rotation with Javier Báez moving forward.
Tigers placed OF Matt Vierling on the 10-day injured list with right shoulder inflammation.
Not great. Nothing definitive on the severity as Vierling is set to undergo further evaluation and imaging, according to a team medical report. The 28-year-old lefty masher missed nearly two months at the outset of the year due to a shoulder strain.
