FantasyAlarm - $4 Million Fanduel Event

The Fantasy Alarm team is on a mission, to win $1 million. Saturday in Las Vegas there's a chance it could happen.

We're sitting here in Las Vegas in the Fantasy Alarm War Room at the Cosmopolitan hotel. Here's the scene as we're setting things up.

Why are we all gathered? It's time for Fantasy Alarm to win A $1 million in the Fanduel World Fantasy Baseball Championship. $4 million in prize money is up for grabs with the grand prize being $1 million on Saturday, August 22nd (happy anniversary Mom and Dad). Here's the payout structure of the event (there are 90 tickets in the event given the Alarm a 1/90 shot).

So all the Alarm team needs to do is to set their Fanduel lineup to win. Simple lineups as well: C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, OF, OF, OF, SP

Simple scoring system too.

Nelson Cruz kills it on Saturday's and against lefties said Ted Schuster. 

Marcell Ozuna kills Aaron Harang.

Darin Ruf... and then Ted made some love making sounds. I think he likes him. 

Jeff Mans hit more homers than Bo Jackson in the Home Run Derby Event. True story.

Should we consider a Rockies stack again?

Why are the women so hot in Vegas? 
(Answer: I don't know, but they are insanely hot)

I'm gonna sit out front with a 12 pack, and then get another when I'm done with that.
(A joke, no one is drinking a drop).

Do we have any desire to consider Randy Wolf?

Miguel Cabrera is amazing, but just so expensive.

Taylor Jungmann is dominating... but those minor league numbers suggest regression.

Food arrived. Brain power.

The Reds are interesting, but they haven't hit. I'm not feeling a Reds stack says Jeff.

Diamondbacks stack interesting... but expensive.

Matt Barnes is a dumpster fire. Why aren't we stacking against him?

Sonny Gray is so expensive... it will impact all our bats.

I'm starting to lean to Yordano Ventura against the Red Sox and Barnes who is atrocious. 

Vidal Nuno just can't go deep into games.

Carlos Rodon has a high ground ball rate and a high K/9 rate.

Alcides Escobar is finally figuring it out.

Andrew Heaney throws strikes, but he's facing a buzz saw in the Jays.

You know who is in play today... Adam Rosales. Shoot, he's not in there.

Randy Wolf is going to be stacked against, rather heavily.
Shut the door.

This Royals thing is picking up a lot of steam, especially the top of the lineup. Ben Zobrist is only outfield eligible now, that sucks.  

That's Kay Adams to the right taking hacks at the home runs derby.

Nuno just hasn't be stretched out. 

Can we consider going with Rodon? Can we?

Justin Bour and Derek Dietrich are what interest me with the Marlins. 

There's not much cheap action at third. We need 2,400 or under... Mike Moustakas and Pablo Sandoval only ones that fit.

Cruz is so expensive, but so good. Not as good when he is at designated hitter though.

Who's in the Playbook today? That's right, we have a service to help set a lineup.

Quasi interest in Joe Ross, but Jungmann might be better today.

Blake Swihart is good on Saturday's. Hitting 8th though.

I think Gray is the arm - or Jungmann - Jeff Mans,

Arguing about beats to play to get pumped up.

It will be hard to go Cruz and a Royals stack if we do that. But, we could do the stack with Jungmann. - Schuster. 

Enrique Hernandez (Kiki) or Alcides Escobar? Two cheap options.

Cheap option at backstop...

Maybe we should think about someone who is at home and could get that extra at-bat in the bottom of the ninth.

All we do is win, win, win...

Juan Uribe says Jeff. I would rather die says Ted.

A.J. Pollock is 8-for-10 the last two games.

It's either Jungmann or Gray at this point.

Double-Dong value plays - Jonathan Schoop, Todd Frazier, Jhonny Peralta.

The die is nearly cast.. until Rodon starts to gain traction in the room. 

It's been a long four hours of breaking down the matchups with five of the Alarm minds. Let''s hope it works out.
