Stacks are the way to go in DFS, especially in GPP plays. Load up on hitters from a team or two that go off. Last night, there were quite a few that obliged with four scoring in double-digits (SEA-14; ATL-11, WSH-10, CWS-10) and the Padres putting up a nine spot. We had a 21-run game (ATL/WSH) and two 17-run affairs (CWS/BAL & SEA/MIN). Taking a look at Tuesday’s full slate - we’ll do our best to identify those double-digit run-producing team and some matchup-inspired players to help you stack to win.

SEATTLE MARINERS

The M’s are running hot with a 14-run outburst last night at Target Field. We’ll be on them again against Kyle Gibson. Gibson has turned his season around, including a nice outing last time out against this same Mariners outfit - allowing just one run over six innings in that start. These Seattle hitters have him timed out and remember that 8+ ERA start through his first six starts wasn’t long ago. We expect a revert to the mean here quickly. Vegas has them with the early leader in the clubhouse for implied run total tonight at just over six runs. While you can’t expect 14 runs again, we do expect them to do enough to be a stackable option tonight.

Main Targets: OF Nelson Cruz; 2B Robinson Cano; 3B Kyle Seager

Value Targets: OF Jarrod Dyson; OF Ben Gamel; OF Guillermo Heredia; C Mike Zunino

MARINERS - TWINS GAME STACK

As mentioned earlier, the M’s-Twins game produced 17 runs last night and Vegas has this total at 10.5. Also, Target Field is turning into a hitters haven this year with a 10.52 runs/PG average, which ranks second only to Coors Field in Denver. The Mariners are throwing out Christian Bergman, who they also faced five days ago. Like Gibson, Bergman impressed in that start with six strikeouts in five innings and just one earned run allowed. He’s put together a nice stretch after a 10-earned run disaster against the Nationals back on 5/23. So, again, like Gibson, we’re calling for another rough one tonight. Of course, weather could come into play here as they are calling for spot storms there today, so you’ll want to keep an eye on things.

Main Targets: OF Nelson Cruz; 2B Robinson Cano; 3B Miguel Sano; 2B Brian Dozier; OF Robbie Grossman

Value Targets: OF Ben Gamel; OF Guillermo Heredia; OF Eddie Rosario; SS Eduardo Escobar

JOE ROSS / PAOLO ESPINO LEFTY STACK

Sure, it’s a small sample size, but both Ross (.415) and Espino (.412) have inflated wOBA numbers allowed to left-handed hitters. So, we’ll get a bit creative and identify some lefty swingers from the Braves and Cardinals to stack and hope this trend continues. Note: Espino is starting the second game in St. Louis tonight - thus, he’s a part of the main slate.

Main Targets: OF Ender Inciarte; 1B Matt Adams; 1B Matt Carpenter

Value Targets: OF Nick Markakis; 3B Rio Ruiz; 2B Kolten Wong

Good luck tonight in all of your contests and be sure to check out Ben Scherr’s Playbook and Optimal Lineups today for this full main slate. Take a look at the Hitting/Pitching coaches from Brett Talley and always keep an eye on the lineups and weather center to stay on top of everything leading up to lineup lock.
