Jesse Hahn has elected free agency.
Hahn made a pair of relief appearances last week for Seattle, his first big-league outings since 2021, and was promptly removed from the club’s 40-man roster. The 35-year-old journeyman could potentially return on a new minor league pact, but he’ll test the free agent waters for now.
Brayan Bello (shoulder) will make another minor league rehab start on Wednesday for Double-A Portland.
Red Sox manager Alex Cora added that Bello’s next outing will likely be his final rehab start before returning to make his season debut. The 25-year-old righty has been on the shelf since spring training recovering from a right shoulder strain. He should be ready to rejoin Boston’s starting rotation early next week.
Liam Hendriks (elbow) will make an additional minor league rehab appearance for Triple-A Worcester.
Red Sox manager Alex Cora told reporters Hendriks will likely be activated for Friday’s series opener against the White Sox. The 36-year-old veteran tossed a scoreless inning on Sunday for Triple-A Worcester and will make at least one additional rehab outing before making his long-awaited Boston debut at Fenway Park.
Richard Fitts has been diagnosed with a mild right pectoral strain and remains without a return timetable.
Red Sox manager Alex Cora refused to speculate on a potential timeline, but it’s seemingly a positive development that Fitts isn’t dealing with a high-grade strain. The 25-year-old hit the injured list this past weekend and is likely facing a multi-week absence, even in a best-case scenario. Marcell Ozuna is absent from the lineup for Monday’s series opener against the Blue Jays with a minor leg issue.
It’s merely an extra off day for Ozuna, who is dealing with a minor leg issue, according to manager Brian Snitker. Fantasy managers should keep a close eye on his status over the remainder of the week, but Snitker downplayed concern about the issue prior to Monday’s contest in Toronto. Fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day for now. It’ll be Bryan De La Cruz taking a turn at DH on Monday night.

Albies gets the nod atop Atlanta’s lineup to face Toronto lefty starter Easton Lucas with Michael Harris II bumped down to the sixth spot. The 28-year-old second baseman has seemingly overcame an early-season slump at the plate with two homers and a pair of stolen bases over his last seven contests.
