NFL Injury Report 2024 - Fantasy Football Week 15: Isaac Guerendo & More
With Week 14 all but wrapped up, it’s time to look forward to the Week 15 Fantasy Football injury report.
It’s hard to imagine the NFL injuries continuing to pile up with the volume they have, but alas, we’re here. They don’t stop.
NFL Injury Report For Week 15: Fantasy Football Injuries
There are some critical fantasy football injuries we’re awaiting such as Justin Herbert, Bucky Irving, and Kenneth Walker.
We’ll have to continue to monitor the injury reports throughout the week for the information we’ll need for our fantasy football rosters heading into Week 15. Let’s dive into this week's early look at the NFL injury report.
NFL Week 15 Injury Report: Quarterbacks
Justin Herbert Injury Update - Leg
It’s a situation to monitor as we head into Week 15 as Justin Herbert was hobbled in Week 14. He was able to return to the game and even finish it, but that could’ve been the adrenaline carrying him.
Derek Carr Injury Update - Concussion/Hand
A lot is going on here, but Derek Carr is currently in concussion protocol and also has a broken left hand. All that and the Saints are not placing him on injured reserve and are holding out hope that he returns to the field before the end of the year.
Aidan O'Connell Injury Update - Knee
In a bizarre twist, Aidan O'Connell has gone from being carted off the field in an air cast to a bone bruise and could be playing in Week 15. It seems unlikely he will play, but it seems like he’s going to at least attempt it. Desmond Ridder will start in his place if he can’t go, but great for O’Connell considering it looked much worse than it ultimately ended up being.
NFL Week 15 Injury Report: Running Backs
Bucky Irving Injury Update - Back
After his status was up in the air heading into Week 14 with a back/hip injury, it was the back that locked up on Irving and took him out for the game. Head coach Todd Bowles told the media on Monday that Bucky Irving’s back is tight, and if they can’t loosen it by the time Week 15’s game against the Chargers rolls around, it’s unlikely he’ll play.
Kenneth Walker Injury Update - Calf
Head coach Mike Macdonald informed the media it’s not an ankle injury that Kenneth Walker is dealing with but it’s a calf injury. The team is running tests on the severity of the issue, and they hope to know more within one to two days.
Isaac Guerendo Injury Update - Foot
Isaac Guerendo looked great and ended up spraining his foot and leaving the game. The unfortunate part for Guerendo is that the 49ers play on Thursday night, so it’s a VERY fast turnaround. It’s a mild sprain, but again, it’s a short week for the 49ers.
Jonathon Brooks Injury Update - Knee
For the second time in just over a year, Jonathon Brooks has torn his ACL. The same ACL. Brooks was only able to play three games before reinjuring his knee which will presumably knock him out of starting the 2025 campaign on the field.
NFL Week 15 Injury Report: Wide Receivers
George Pickens Injury Update - Hamstring
On a local Steelers Radio on Monday, it was confirmed that George Pickens has a grade-2 hamstring strain and that it’s unlikely that Pickens will play in Week 15. Adam Schefter later confirmed this type of hamstring strain is typically a multi-week injury when he was on the Pat McAfee show.
Romeo Doubs Injury Update - Concussion
Head coach Matt LaFleur told the media on Monday that Romeo Doubs is still in concussion protocol. If Doubs is unable to play in Week 15, this would be his third consecutive missed game.
Cedric Tillman Injury Update - Concussion
Per head coach Kevin Stefanski, Cedric Tillman remains in concussion protocol, and we’ll see if he’s able to advance through it and be cleared in time for the Browns’ Week 15 game.
Demarcus Robinson Injury Update - Shoulder
It’s a short week for the Rams as they play on Thursday, so Demarcus Robinson’s status is really unknown at this time. Head coach Sean McVay confirmed he has an AC joint sprain in his shoulder. He was listed as a DNP in the team’s estimated practice report on Monday.
NFL Week 15 Injury Report: Tight Ends
Tyler Higbee Injury Update - Knee
In what’s simply a practice estimation, Tyler Higbee was listed as a full participant in practice. The Rams play on Thursday, so Monday’s practice report is a walkthrough. Head coach Sean McVay said they’re not trying to rush Tyler Higbee, and they’ll see if he’s ready to go.
Will Dissly Injury Update - Shoulder
The Chargers did not have any updates on the shoulder injury that knocked Will Dissly out of the game. Head coach Jim Harbaugh said they’re still awaiting test results.
