Buffalo defenseman Henri Jokiharju will play for Finland at the upcoming World Championships.

It will mean a little bit more for Jokiharju this year as the Championships are being played in his native Finland and some games are in his hometown of Tampere. Jokiharju, a first round pick of the Blackhawks at number 29 in 2017, had three goals and 16 assists in 60 games for the Sabres this season. He was dealt for Alexander Nylander three years ago in a trade that looks at this time as it is working out nicely for Buffalo.
