Connor Ingram allowed four goals on 37 shots in Monday's 5-3 Game 4 loss to the Colorado Avalanche.
It was the same old song and dance for the Predators on Monday night. Ingram did the best he could, but Nashville was simply no match for the Colorado Avalanche. A third-period goal from Valeri Nichushkin sealed the deal for the Predators as they became the first team to be eliminated from this year's playoffs.
Connor Ingram will start on Monday night against Colorado in Game 4.
Ingram will get a third straight start for the Predators, as they look to avoid being swept in the opening round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. He has a 0-2 record this postseason with a 3.50 goals-against average and .919 save percentage in three appearances.

The Avalanche kept Ingram busy, but nevertheless this wasn't a good showing for him. It certainly wasn't anything like his strong performance during Thursday's 2-1 overtime loss. At this point, the Predators are down 3-0 in the series. Juuse Saros hasn't played at all in the first round because of an injury.
Connor Ingram will start in Game 3 against Colorado on Saturday.
Ingram was superb in Thursday's 2-1 overtime loss to the Avalanche with 49 saves. He has 2.12 goals-against average and .952 save percentage in two appearances during the series. Ingram made a relief appearance in Game 1 after David Rittich was pulled. Coach John Hynes said that Juuse Saros (lower body) isn't ready to return.
