Jones accounted for one goal and four assists in 10 games for the United States at the tournament en route to a fourth-place finish. He averaged 27:01 of ice time per game for a shorthanded defense group. 

Jones snapped Cam Talbot's shutout shot with his goal about nine minutes into the third period. That goal also tied matters up on the scoreboard, though Ryan Hartman would subsequently put the Wild up 2-1 with a dagger go-ahead goal later in the period. Overall this season, Jones has notched four goals and 40 points across 58 games played. Saturday's goal was the defenseman's first since the beginning of December. 

His brother Caleb Jones chipped in with a pair of helpers, giving the Jones's five assists on the night. Seth Jones has three goals and 34 points this season.

Jones didn't travel with the team, but he is expected to rejoin the group when they return home on Tuesday. The Blackhawks aren't scheduled to play again until Friday against Minnesota, so Jones should be ready to go by then. He hasn't played since Jan. 8 due to COVID-19 protocol.
