Quick was outstanding as he kept the Kings in the game, especially in the second period as he stopped 23-of-24 shots in an Edmonton onslaught. The 36-year-old goaltender had a rebound regular season after a couple of mediocre years and was 3-4 in the playoffs with a 3.43 GAA and a .904 save percentage. 

Quick didn't take part in the morning skate, which has been part of his starting routine for a while now. He made 33 saves on 36 shots in a 4-2 loss to the Oilers on Thursday. Quick has a 3-3 record with a 3.66 goals-against average and .893 save percentage this postseason. 

There wasn't much Quick could do in his crease on a Connor McDavid's game-opening goal as he just took over and did McDavid things. Evander Kane's goal was a clean deflection off of a Brett Kulak shot. And finally, Tyson Barrie ripped one past him on a power-play. The fact is the Kings need more offense from their players that have been doing it all season long. It all comes down to Saturday night in the decisive Game 7.

Quick was not on the ice for the morning skate, which has become part of his starting routine. He is coming off a 24-save effort in Tuesday's 5-4 OT win over the Oilers. Quick has a 3-2 record this postseason with a 3.79 GAA and .887 SV%.
