Radko Gudas (lower body) took part in Sunday's practice and appears to be ready to return to the lineup for Game 1 against Washington.
Gudas sat out the final two games of the regular season for precautionary reasons. He was paired with Gustav Forsling during the session. Gudas provided 16 points, 105 penalty minutes, 100 shots, 118 blocks and a league-leading 355 hits in 77 games during the 2021-22 campaign.

Gudas is day-to-day after he suffered a lower-body injury on Tuesday night. Coach Andrew Brunette said the Panthers defender will sit for precautionary reasons ahead of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Gudas exited the contests in the second period after he logged 10:07 of ice time. Coach Andrew Brunette said that the Florida defender would be re-evaluated, but it sounds like Gudas was pulled as a precaution more than anything else.
Radko Gudas won't be in the lineup on Friday versus Buffalo.
Gudas will get the night off and Petteri Lindbohm will play in his place. He is expected to be back in the fold on Saturday against Nashville. Gudas has 15 points, 94 penalty minutes, 92 shots, 105 blocks and 323 hits in 68 games this season.
