Zach Sanford has signed a one-year, $850,000 contract with the Nashville Predators.
Sanford skated in 80 games with Ottawa and Winnipeg last season. He supplied nine goals, 21 points, 104 shots, 67 blocks and 169 hits between the two teams.
The Winnipeg Jets will have Zach Sanford back in their lineup on Wednesday night when they face the Philadelphia Flyers.
Sanford missed Sunday's game against the Avs due to his undisclosed ailment. The 27-year-old forward has nine goals and 20 points in 77 games so far this season.

Sanford rotated in with Morgan Barron alongside Adam Lowry and Mason Appleton during Tuesday's practice when he was a full participant. Coach Dave Lowry said Sanford is "very likely to be" an option for Wednesday's game, but he still needed to speak with the training staff. Sanford skated again on Wednesday morning.
