Kuznetsov hooked up T.J. Oshie with assists on goals in both the first and second periods as Washington roared out to an early 3-0 advantage. They would be outscored 5-0 over the final 33-plus minutes of ic3e time. This was Kuznetsov's first multi-point showing of the postseason. He is up to five total points in five playoff games this spring.

Kuznetsov wasn't penalized on the play during Saturday's 6-1 win over the Panthers. He has one goal and 10 shots though three games this series. 

Florida looked to have this one in control -- so much as any team can have control of a one-goal game -- leading 2-1 with 12 minutes remaining in regulation. Then Kuznetsov broke away for a 1-on-1 tango with Sergei Bobrovsky before cracking home a game-tying goal. Washington, playing with the carefree looseness of the underdog, proceeded to score twice more in the period to turn away the top-seeded Panthers. In 79 games during the regular season, Kuznetsov racked up 24 goals and 78 points. 

Kuznetsov is on a three-game point streak. He has 24 goals and 77 points in 74 contests in 2021-22.
