2024 Player Outlook

The Erick All Jr. college story is an interesting one. He was set to be Michigan's starting tight end but suffered serious back issues that required spine surgery and Michigan had to move on with other options. He got another shot at Iowa but he tore his ACL fairly early on. That said, in his limited sample size he actually averaged the second highest yards per route run after only Brock Bowers. He landers in Cincinnati where last year, after injuries to Irv Smith Jr, Drew Sample served as the blocking tight end and Tanner Hudson skewed pass catching. This year, they have brought in All via the draft and Mike Gesicki via free agency. If All can't outright win the job, he could end up the inline blocking tight end with Gesicki skewing pass. This would delay any sort of fantasy relevance for All until not only the tight end depth chart clears up but also there aren't two elite wide receivers at the top.
